We signed a contract with Legacy/Frank Bessey in Nov of 2022 and paid half as a deposit. Work was supposed to begin in March of 2023. March came around and Frank was no where to be found. After multiple calls, texts, emails, and a certified letter, we finally heard from Frank in August of 2023 and he promised to begin the work the following week. It’s now October and we can’t get ahold of Frank once again nor have we received our deposit back.

A major disappointment. I wanted this to work out but it failed miserably midway through the project. I have written to Frank to try to resolve my claim with him. He has not responded.

We signed with Legacy/Frank Bessey at the end for February 2022 and put down a deposit to secure an early May start date. After 6 follow up emails, multiple texts and 2 additional missed dates Frank showed up in the middle of July. We were patient and pretty understanding given that we were coming out of the pandemic and there was high demand for services but all we got were excuses. The list of reasons for the delay included uncooperative weather, a broken foot, 2 members of his crew calling out sick, and a machine that was in for repair. The job itself was performed poorly at best. Stone slabs for our walkway were to be lifted, raised and reinstalled but one large slab was damaged and others were misaligned. Legacy did not compact the top soil and the sprinkler’s Frank set up made the ground soft and muddy, causing the new growth to die. Frank assured me that he would look at the work that was done, determine what needs repair and have a plan to grow the grass and evaluate the water mitigation work. However, he never showed up and stopped returning messages. The two areas that he was contracted to repair and plant grass are now completely dead and heavy with the straw that his crew laid down. Frank is friendly guy who will tell customers what they want to hear but in my experience, he fails to honor his commitments. His work product is poor with little attention to detail.

They came in and did some cement work to fix the leak in our basement, but, just a month later it leaks again, so what they did do not work. I called multiple times trying to get people back to fix this issue but can’t get in touch with anyone for few months then they finally contact me to schedule for another inspection, however, after inspection, no one came in to do any fix that we have discussed during the inspection. The worst experience i have even had

Contacted Frank on a Thursday to inquire about a trench I needed dug for an electric line that was being installed the upcoming Tuesday. Friday he was out to look at the yard and first thing Saturday him and his team were there to dig the trench (for a very affordable cost). The team was friendly, professional & focused on getting the job done right. Fully expected to have to reschedule my electric job until Legacy saved the day. They went above and beyond and even volunteered to help me knock out a few miner projects just because they were there and had the equipment. I’ll be calling them for any of my yard needs moving forward.

We had Frank and Legacy come out to redo a wall along our driveway and they were awesome! Very professional, paid attention to details and made great suggestions (even mid way through the job) to ensure we were satisfied with the outcome. Very happy with the results of this project, they did an excellent job. Highly recommend!

We had some drainage issues in the back of our house and in side yard. We took wager in our basement during Hurricane Isaias and sought professional advice. Frank and his team did a wonderful establishing drains and diverting water. They are polite, thorough, and responsive. Highly recommend Legacy Landscapes!

Very professional! Fixed a long-term leak into our basement by repointing stone, diverting water, and inserting and creating drainage away from the house. They also repaired the damaged interior wall. Work was done cleanly and on time and according to estimate. Was particularly happy that they had a holistic view to solving the problem both outside and inside. Highly recommended!!

We worked with Frank and his team to solve a difficult drainage problem in our back and side yard. Water would pool up and almost never dry other than middle of summer. Frank was creative in coming with a solution that works great and wasn’t overly invasive during the digging and installation. His team had to run a few hundred yards of pipe and dig a 10x20x8 ft hole in the side yard to capture all the routed water. We definitely needed a professional solution to our problem and we’re happy we hired the right company to do it. The team reseeded the yard and left sprinklers for us to use for several weeks after.

Legacy put in a major drainage system in the backyard to handle heavy rains, downspouts and a very active sump pump and finished with a new sod yard. They were wonderful to work with, kept us informed throughout the whole scheduling and install process. Looking forward to working with them on more projects.
