We hired Majestic to clean up our beds and to mulch. After receiving several quotes we chose Majestic based on value and what we thought was professionalism. The job was completed and looked good except for the fact that they completely ripped up a large swath of ornamental grass. i was willing to accept that perhaps this wasn’t properly communicated to them. The real issue is that when we received the bill it was TWICE what the estimate was. The explanation given to us was that it took them more time than they had estimated. I could understand if it was maybe $500 off, but the original estimate was for $3500 and the final bill was $6900!!! I understand that an estimate is just that, however, being that the scope of the work did not change and. o complications arose, I expected someone with their level of experience to be able to accurately assess a job and quote appropriately.
