Emerson Builders 8 months agoI have hesitated for years to post a negative review of this company. The people at Emerson were all very nice to deal with, but the company renovated two bathrooms in our house several years ago, and we are STILL suffering from plumbing problems due to their shoddy work. Their plumbers were absolutely incompetent. Immediately — on the day of installation — we saw leaks from the toilets, faucets, under-sink drains, etc., and the company manager could not understand why I was upset because they “came back to fix it”. Apparently, for Emerson, it’s completely normal and expected for brand new, expensive bathroom finishes to leak within hours of installation due to poor workmanship. The company allegedly fixed these problems, but each year we have discovered continued leaking from ill-filling attachments and unprofessional work — all traceable to Emerson’s plumbers. We have spent, and continue to spend, significant time and money to remedy the mess that Emerson made. Perhaps Emerson is good at other things, but I highly recommend looking elsewhere for any work that involves plumbing.

Construction 4 years agoI hired this company to install my backyard pavers. They miscalculated the materials, and I had to pay for delivery three times for more materials. They mishandled the pavers, creating scratches throughout and failed to fill the sand afterwards. They installed chipped bricks in various areas, and then had to replaced them after we pinpointed them. Additionally, they did not seal the pavers. The pavers looked 20 years old due to the mishandling of the materials. After 3 long weeks of installation, the owner wanted to take everything up and restart the job. Instead, we agreed to a 50% labor refund. Since then, the owner has indicated that he will deliver the funds but have been unresponsive. This is over 2 months ago. I would not recommend this company. The owner is unprofessional. His workers were just as unprofessional as they went behind my shed and peed on multiple occasions. I only know because they were seen on camera by a neighbor.
