This is the place to go for anything landscaping. I thought I had ideas of what I wanted to do with my landscaping but they brought ideas to the table that blew my mind. They aren’t out to blow up your budget but work within it to provide you the best service. If 10 stars were an option they’d garnish all 10 from me. Check it out for yourself. These folks are just solid, reliable! I have to send a special shot out to accounting as I stand amongst the beauty now just outside my door. Nicole made it possible and helped me through everything from estimation/project documents to aiding in payments.

I had my annual sprinkler start up appointment today. I’ve always had good service from them and today was no exception. I asked my technician if he could adjust a sprinkler to accommodate new plantings just as he was coming to let me know he was done. He handled my request with grace and good humor and got the job done.

Reached out last Tuesday (3/5) and was initially impressed by the company’s responsiveness to my website inquiry and promptness to call within a couple hours to arrange an appointment for the following afternoon to come out and give me a bid. Wednesday (3/6) afternoon came and went and no one showed up and no one followed up. Customer service is my number one deciding factor in choosing a business to work with, so it’s unfortunate this opportunity was lost because there would have been multiple services and continued business that could have been possible.

Received landscape trimming and shaping in the fall that initially looked great, but resulted in the death of 2 oriental bushes. Regardless, we took care of the invoice once received and did not have any further contact to or FTGU until today when we received a collections notice. We immediately called FTGU to inquire and verify the letter, as we were confused how we received a collections notice on a bill that had already been paid. Again, we also did not receive any contacts or statements in an attempt to notify us that they had not received payment prior to the collections letter. We then verified with our bank that the check had been processed and provided the check number, check date, date of account debit, bank account statement, copy of the check and an additional screenshot showing the check withdrawal to their non-certified accountant. Even with the mass amounts of proof, the company failed to remediate the issue or offer a solution, and we were required to pay TWICE for a single mediocre service or face an impending credit score impact. This is NOT a local business that cares about their clientele and they made that very clear.

This is the first year I have contracted services with the Ground Up. Mitch has been awesome to work with. The crews completing lawn services including mowing and fall clean-up did an excellent job. I will be renewing my contract for 2024
