Ryan, Tyler, and crew did an amazing job of designing and installing a fire pit with retaining wall and stone and garden landscaping. We could not be happier and highly recommend them for any landscaping needs.

Low Maintenance designed and installed a beautiful garden on the hill in our backyard. The plants are native, drought resistant and something is always blooming- spring, summer and fall. The design included 4 steps built of large, interesting flagstones and a fabulous stone retaining wall. The maintenance crew has been great, keeping the weeds at bay, implementing measures to reduce the deer and rabbit traffic, and even removing all the leaves in the fall. What was once an overgrown mess of honeysuckle is now an inviting garden.

My office at the Northeast Kansas Library System has been using Low Maintenance Landscaping for years. They provide seasonal maintenance as well as landscape design and installation services for us. Liz and her team are knowledgeable and responsive. They come up with thoughtful solutions and deliver beautiful results. Their online plant library is a wonderful resource. I feel good partnering with a company that understands native plants and sustainable landscaping. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

We had three different landscape companies come out to provide us with ideas on how we should landscape the front of our new house. Out of these three companies we decided on Low Maintenance.. Ryan, did a fantastic job on providing a very colorful, year round landscape plan that should look good in all four seasons here in Kansas. Besides the plan and design being fantastic on paper the thing that really impressed my wife and I the most was the team that did the installation. Very customer focused, on time, did a great job cleaning up the site before leaving at the end of each day. This company isn’t cheap but they really do deleiver on what they promise. Thank you Ryan, and please pat your team on the back for a job well done. Thank you!

Daniel is phenomenal! This landscaping company is exactly what we needed for our small, rocky and heavily-rooted townhome yard. They were responsive to my ideas, showed up promptly, worked efficiently and carried out all elements of the proposed plan. We feel so fortunate to have this company agree to work on our project.

We had a really complex drainage ditch/French drain situation that Low Maintenance handled quickly and we couldn’t be happier with the solution they provided. They even went above and beyond and added some mulching around the front of our house, a small area that I had no idea how to handle myself. We will be using Low Maintenance for many more projects in the future. Thanks, guys!!!!

Such a great local company who understands the local area and climate. Our maple tree roots were showing in our lawn and LML put together a proposal to update our current flower beds and add others. All the plants they used are native to the area and were thought out so that there’d be visual interest all season long. The finished product was exactly as they described and makes our yard look wonderful. They even found plants for the west side of our house that is notoriously hot and dry.

Absolutely stellar customer service! Liz, leader of the maintenance crew, is so personable, fun, and responsive! She always quickly and effectively answers any plant care questions I have. Laura, the landscape designer, is thoroughly knowledgeable and personable, too. Their nursery features high quality plants, and they have the right people to help you out!

Low Maintenance has landscaped both of the 2 homes we have owned over the past 19 years. The trees, plants, and designs are beautiful and flourish in every season. In addition to creating beautifully cultivated beds they expertly maintain their work. Liz manages the maintenance team with excellence. They diligently work to prepare the landscape for each season, pruning and trimming as needed. Also, each time I have requested a special service, Liz responds promptly and the team arrives and does the extra work. I recommend Low Maintenance Landscape for initial design, planting, and maintenance.
