When we brought our home we did not like the landscaping it came with and wanted a makeover since the previous owner did not take care of the landscaping. We called Portillo’s who was able to make our vision a reality. They showed so much love and care while working and made it happen in a quick turnaround. We love the work they did so much we will have them fix our lawn and irrigation as well. Thank you Portillo’s!

Had Portillo’s de-thatch me last year, recommended them to my neighbor. That was done today, and they did a great job. The owner came over to say hi, and thanked me for the recommendation. Will be using them in the spring to de-thatch my lawn again. Very reliable, and priced fair.

Elder and his team put in two hard scapes for us. Two 7 gallon triple palms along with flowering plants to complement the palms. In addition he installed metal edging along side of the home in a couples of other areas. All hard shapes including digging out all grass and placing heavy landscape fabric before accenting them with decorative salt and pepper rock. Elder also takes care of our sprinkler system and his son does all of our trimming. I highly recommend Elder and his team. The Village of McClure.

I was very pleased with all communications and the work done by Portillo Landscape Solutions. Elder, the owner, was diligent and explained just what I did and did not need to treat my lawn. Portrillo’s lawn service remediated a large section of my lawn that was damaged by cinch bugs last summer. He replaced some sprinkler heads to increase the volume of water in key areas. I was very satisfied with the overall job.

I rarely, if ever, rate anyone or anything five stars but without a doubt Portillo’s Lawn Solutions earned that distinction! For years I have had a swampy quagmire between my house and my neighbors. I had one company (Cinto Arrendondo) try to fix the problem. They slap dashed it together and the problem became worse. Elder, the owner of PLS, proposed a well-designed engineered method to address the issue. Given the amount of labor and materials used, the price was more than fair. Their professionalism and follow-up was off the chart. As a matter of fact Jacob, Elder’s son, called me a couple of days before the job was to begin only to tell me that they would have to reschedule to the following week because of a death in the family. I am more than satisfied with the resulting work and know you will be as well!
