This company has excellent reviews and is located near my house. Seemed like the obvious choice for sprinkler system repair. But on two different occasions, they twice failed to arrive at the time scheduled, and neither called me nor arrived later.

I live 625 miles from my vacation home in Central Florida. This home needed a complete renovation of the landscaping, but it was unlikely that I would be present for any of the work. Being an absentee owner, I needed a very reliable contractor for the design and execution. Based on the recommendation of an Ocala landscape architectural firm to which I had been referred, I called Ocala Landscape Management for a proposal. I received the proposal very promptly from their in-house landscape designer and was impressed by the detail and creativity of the plan and how it fit within my criteria. The proposed work would include a new irrigation system, metal edging and rock mulch for the beds (a new concept for this Louisianian), as well as the use of low-maintenance, native plants and a select grade of St. Augustine sod that would do well in sun and shade. The landscape designer with whom I dealt, Matt Goldey, would also be the on-site supervisor. I was impressed with Matt from the very beginning and, throughout the project, he was the consummate professional in every respect: in providing an excellent design, in his communication with me, the client, and in directing his crew. He was also quick to pick up the shovel or rake and do the hands-on dirty work as well. His on-site foreman, Greg Chatham, was equally as professional. He kept the project on schedule and demonstrated to his crew, by example, diligence, focus and commitment until the work was completed. I had a “hard deadline” to meet, which was agreed to in advance. Working under adverse weather conditions, the Ocala Landscape Management crew did not let up, but worked through a week’s worth of rainy (sometimes severe) conditions to successfully meet the deadline. They did everything they said they would and did it with integrity. All material was of high quality and the outcome was better than I had imagined. They did a superior job for me, which meant even more since, as absentee owner, I was required to trust and rely on them when I could not be present…and my trust was completely validated. I give them my highest recommendation.

If you need anything done regarding your sprinkler system, do yourself a favor and call this company. Don’t even think about going with someone else. Their tech. Scott is very knowledgeable, friendly, cost conscious and explains in simple terms what needs to be done. There won’t be any “up selling” with this company. The techs don’t work on commission. Allie in customer service worked with me on my difficult schedule to have Scott at my home exactly when promised. In all of my many years I have never had a service company perform like Ocala Landscape. They are truly the standard by which all others should be judged. Thank you Scott for a job well done.
