They installed poor quality artificial turf as part of my landscape design. Within a few weeks parts of the turf started melting. I’ve battled with them for a year now and they won’t fix it. They won’t stand by their warranty and have made it my problem to contact the manufacturer. I won’t be using JTB landscaping ever again.

This company has no respect for the neighborhood they are working in. They leave trash and broken glass bottles in the street. They park blocking fire hydrants.

JTB Landscaping deserves more than 5 stars. Rick and his crews are all way above the 5-star level. There wasn’t anything they couldn’t handle. We had a number of difficult issues and, unlike other landscape companies we had talked to, JTB demonstrated they had the knowledge and experience to tackle each issue to produce a low maintenance yard that looks like it belongs in a resort. Rick’s extensive knowledge of plants was invaluable in addressing some of our problems. Among the many things that impressed us was that they weren’t happy until we were happy. One of the requirements for the job was a poured concrete border around all of the planted areas. Ernie, the “Concrete Border Expert Extraordinaire”, came to the house and took pictures of the many large and small boulders that already existed in the yard and devised a unique color and pattern combination that blended with the existing boulders. We had a difficult hillside area next to the pre-existing water feature. They designed and built a beautiful stone patio with a retaining wall in the area that solved the problems, and, at an unbelievably reasonable price. Actually, the whole job was at a very reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and hire JTB Landscaping

I have nothing but good things to say about JTB Landscaping. We started the process with them early while we were in the process of building our house. They did an entire yard landscape, with fence, and irrigation system. I sent all the HOA requirements and lot info to Danny, and Rick came up with a plan for the yard that looked great. Along the way we decided to change houses and had a bigger yard. Danny and Rick were great about making the needed changes. They were really flexible and timely about everything. They even offered to help me with getting a hold of people from the HOA to get approvals. JTB is affordable without sacrificing quality. The team working on the yard were all very friendly and communicative. Everyone I worked with was great. My yard looks amazing and I have no regrets going with them. Highly recommend.

I have attempted several time to talk with this company and even email regarding one of their trucks and trailer losing rocks and damaged my truck. Called 2 x and seemed like they didn’t want to talk about it and Hung up

We have used numerous landscape companies here in Colorado Springs and even one from south Denver and no one has come close to the reliability, professionalism, and expertise that JTB Landscaping has. We have ALWAYS had to call all the previous companies to tell them to perform our snow removal and now I know, when I arrive at our veterinary hospital first thing in the morning, the parking lot and the sidewalks will be cleared! Highly recommend them.

I don’t post too many reviews unless the experience I had with a business is out-of-the-ordinary in some way. This is no exception. We hired JTB to overhaul the landscaping for our front yard. I must admit that I was unenthused at the start. Landscaping just isn’t that exciting to me. This changed during the process and I blame Rick for it. James and Rick came to the house to discuss the plan. They were polite, attentive, and not rushed or impatient in any way. They told me they’d send a proposal including a visual estimate of what the finished project would look like. They did so and we hired them. A few days before the confirmed start date, James informed us they had some breakdowns with the equipment and that the start date would be moved back a few days. No problem. Things happen and flipping out about something like this would be ridiculous. They were properly communicative and let us know about any obstacles in a timely, professional manner. They started on the expected day and were attentive to our questions and concerns. Part of the project included the placement of several good-sized boulders. I was expecting maybe 3-4ish. We ended up with 11 boulders of varying sizes, several of which were larger and nicer than I expected. We met Rick at the tree farm to pick plants and bushes and trees. We relied on his experience and expertise, both of which are clearly extensive, to choose the proper plants for the job. Rick’s enthusiasm and love for his profession were evident and infectious. The plants were delivered and planted without issue. The drip irrigation was installed perfectly. At the end of the project, Rick stopped by to explain the operation of the irrigation system and to answer any questions. This was done exceptionally well, without any rush or impatience. The 3-mana crew completing the job were clearly professionals. They completed the job quickly and thoroughly, yet carefully and with an admirable attention to detail. The answered questions without impatience, and with a clear knowledge and understanding of the job and what we were looking for. JTB has several crews and, while I can’t comment on those I have no experience with, the crew we were blessed with are credit to the company. I can’t help but notice that most of the few negative reviews on this and other sites are based on things that have nothing to do with landscaping, but rather seem to be complaints from road-ragers trying to sabotage the business based on some perceived slight experienced from one of JTB’s work trucks. Seems a little silly and, in my humble opinion, should be discarded with prejudice. Based on my experience with JTB, I also wonder if many of these negative reviews have been left by disgruntled and unprincipled competitors. The bottom line is that these guys are pros. They usually do larger, commercial landscaping jobs, yet the attention and care they showed to my little front yard were beyond reproach. We’ll be landscaping the backyard next year and hiring JTB for the job is a no-brainer.

If you are looking for a landscaping company these guys are great! Their prices were competitive with other quotes I got, and their service was friendly and professional. They were incredibly responsive, and the completed the work in the timeframe they originally quoted. My back yard looks amazing!! I can not say enough good things about working with these guys!

Never useed them, but watched there workers in a work truck throw food togo boxes out the passanger window off of interquest goin on I25. Doesnt seem very professional to me
