We drove to Lucama do lay mulch at my father-in-law’s for his surprise birthday gift and instead of driving back to Goldsboro to get more mulch we used this business and do we regret it! The young man that loaded the mulch dug into the sandy dirt and our mulch was full of it! When I called them (hoping to talk to the lady that I payed) to try and resolve this the young man was very rude laughing when I was telling him the mulch was full of sand he said while laughing “ you do realize the mulch is on the ground” yes we understand that but you don’t have to sing into the bottom. I asked to talk to the lady and he stated she was busy. We drove to Goldsboro to get the mulch like we did the first trip and NONE And I will repeat NONE of the mulch has dirt or sand!! It seems to me they need to teach that young man communication skills when dealing with customers and how to load mulch!

The owner came over after letting me browse and helped me with selecting new plants, trees and shrubs for my yard. She took plenty of time to help me and was so informative and knowledgeable. I like their selection of plants. I’m impressed with this garden center.

I always love coming here. Mostly to see RICKY, as he is truly the star of the show. The chickens are pretty awesome too, but Ricky is my buddy. I got a snake plant for only $6 today. Literally a steal in comparison to the last 3 places I attempted to purchase a snake plant in the wilson area. They had no peppermint today and only one species of lavender. I saw some lovely garden statues, birdbaths and wind chimes. They have an incredibly large selection of shrubs, roses, indoor plants, trees and cacti – and soo much more! Very friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. This place is thoroughly organized and easy to navigate.

Large selection of apple trees and peach trees and almost all of the had a apple or a peach on the tree if you want a quality fruit tree they have them

Lots of nice pretty plants & great stuff for your yard. They have garden sets too. Cheaper prices too. Found pink knockout roses on sale for Mother’s Day for only $15.
