Joseph and his crew were awesome! They built a truly lovely patio and firepit for us that completely exceeded our expectations. They also widened our old driveway and fixed its drainage in one day. When repairs were needed due to a storm, Joseph showed up and personally repaired the driveway. Highly recommend!

I was recommended this place by lovely ladies at Lowe’s as a last minute Christmas tree seller (since Lowe’s didn’t have any left). I was amazed by the self-service and honor system Farm Bus – what a wonderful idea!!! I have heard before about tree rentals and the idea of reusing a live tree instead of buying a cut one for Christmas, and thoughts it’s great for ecology, well now the idea was brought to life (accidentally) and I got a beautiful potted evergreen!

Joseph the owner sent me an email with all the names, amount and prices of each plant for each section of the job. Joseph was on the job site and drove the one man tractor himself. Good crew and worked without any issues or concerns. I would use him again.

10/10, would recommend. They did amazing work that was reasonably priced. Most importantly, when I called to request a quote, he answered. Seems like no one ever actually answers anymore and more often than not, their mailbox is full and you can’t even leave a message to get a call back. He came that week and drew up a quote and they started work 1 or 2 weeks after that. Anything else we need done I won’t even look anywhere else. Walnut Cove Farms for me from here on out! Oh, and super friendly too…my 6 year old was legitimately upset he wouldn’t get to see and talk to Joseph anymore after the project was done.

I have worked with Joseph and his crew on multiple jobs for years as the general contractor. I have always been pleased with his professionalism, quality of work, and design capabilities. He is easy to work with and makes sure you get what you want in the end. We have developed such a good relationship that I had him do the design and landscaping at my new personal home. Please pay attention to all of the other 5 star reviews on this site and disregard the lone pessimistic lying review from Mr. Mead. Joseph and his company never did any work for him. He did work at my house and Mr Meades commentary is not sought after, relevant or appropriate. It is shameful that someone can sit behind a computer screen and try to ruin someone’s livelihood with no credibility or validity to their bold face lies. Joseph is a good man who has always done good work and stood behind everything he’s done for me and my clients. I have reported the cowardly lie to google but they have yet to remove it. Just for the record – I continue to use Joseph and Walnut Cove Farms. Thank you

Walnut cove farms was professional, my place looks amazing! Joseph and his team were in an out , and courteous and so thorough! We will definitely be using them again for future endeavors! I would highly recommend Walnut Cove farms for all your landscaping , retaining walls, and Boulder needs! Plus much more!

I am a general contractor by trade and I truly appreciated Joseph and the staff from Walnut Cove Farms for their craftsmanship and quality of the work. The rock walls, rock patio area and stone stairs with hand railing look amazing, especially with the finishing touch of the landscaping that he installed. I look forward to the next Walnut Cove Farms improvements project at our home. Prompt, on time, kept the job site clean and again it looks fantastic. Thanks Joseph!

Joseph completed a recent hardscape and landscape project for our home. The end result was outstanding and we could not be happier. He turned what used to be a huge eyesore into a beautiful stairway to our back patio. The bank was in terrible shape but with the new plantings it will definitely be a focus point for our yard. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing landscape work.

We first met Joseph in 2018 after buying s house in Brannon Forest. He had great ideas on how to make our house “fit” with the natural landscape. Old railroad ties were replaced by natural rock retaining walls. The bed designs and plantings are beautiful! This year, it’s the back of the house that is benefiting from his vision and expertise in building what he proposes! If there were ten stars he’d get them!
