I made contact with Mr. Deluca by recommendation of a friend. Well he was fast to answer and to come to my house. He was very detailed on what needed to be done, therefore very convincing. He did follow-up with all he said. His crew was on time and started work on time. Yes it all sounds good. He said that there were going to be some rebar place in the concrete work. I did not see anythingat all after watching 95% of the job. On the 5% that left to go back in the house that is when supposedly the rear was set, even when there was none in the vicinity while everything was being done. I called deluca about this and he has promised to come and run a metal detector. I am still wandering if there is a small piece of metal that will trick the detector and give a false reading. Anyway he has promised to come but has not fulfilled that promise yet. Also he did not send anyone to clean up the wood boards used for the frame. He told me I had to do it myself. I wish I had read the not recommended reviews before. He is pretty fast to get the money. I will suggest do not pay until the job is done. I made a last contact with Mr. Deluca by text. He was very nice and explained that he had been sick for the last few days and resting. I let him know that it would had been nice to know before. This time he assured me that the rebar was set in the concrete by his workers and that he came to my home and checked with a metal detector when I wasn’t home (very convenient). I asked about the cleanup and he was nice to send one of his people to take care of that. While his worker was cleaning I asked him about the rebar. His story was that Mr. Deluca brought the rebar while I left for a few minutes and then he set it. This totally conflicts with previous information from Mr. Deluca. One said that the worker had with him the other said that the boss brought it later. Bottom line I don’t think there is any rebar set. Be careful and be vigilant when you have some work done at your house. It is sad that you have to do this and not trust the workers…

Called trying to get some landscaping done and also a rock driveway and never got a answer or a call back nothing …. I wouldn’t let hese unprofessional people clean my dog kennel …. Why have a Business that Nobody cares enough to answer a call or give a call back something … I really wish I could have left NO stars….

Iwill make this short, started job got paid left with out finishing the work.Three months and many calls, all i got was i will be there next day. NO SHOW. If you still use him,two things, dont pay untill job is done and make a contract.

Good crew here. They put in a culvert and concrete driveway in for me. Doug was honest up front and his crew did an outstanding job. Their attention to detail was spot on. Call them!

They busted the window in my car while I was at work so I called them after contacting the owner of the property in which I work and he stated ” da lucas does the landscaping I dont do it ” so I tried multiple times to reach out to them then when I checked to see if they left a note they didnt. They finished cutting leaving a mess everywhere and left in a hurry. I had to call the diberville police department and have to file a police report

Doug came out and surveyed our existing flowerbeds. He had scheduled to come out in 2 weeks but were we surprised; he came a week early!!! He was extremely knowledgeable and understood exactly what we needed to have done. I read the negative reviews and was hesitant to hire Doug but we are so glad we did now. He and his crew were so nice; they went above and beyond our expectations!!! We highly recommend DeLuca’s Landscaping.

I usually refrain from reviews but felt this was necessary. He did landscaping work which was great, installed French drain and built deck. Moved on to another project to complete, he called and said he could be done in two days if I paid him almost twice the quoted price (material shortage he said). I reluctantly paid him (he is charming) and then pursued him for more than six months with his constant reassurance he would finish the project (about a 1/3 done which took weeks). He then asked for permission to come work after four months of nothing. He just came and retrieved some equipment and then he left. Do not pay this company in advance! I was so hopeful due to his assurances and the other work he had done. I don’t know what happened. I feel like this was dishonest and deceptive.

Do not do business with this Delucas. Doug will take your deposit and not return to do work. I am waiting 2 months to get my 950$ deposit back
