Dundees used to have a retail nursery in Plymouth which was close to my house and which I patronized quite often. Now this business is closed but Dundee still operates a wholesale nursery in Rogers/Maple Grove. I went there twice, and the gentlemen (John Henning and Nate) were very generous with their time and very well informed. They have been with Dundee for decades (which says a lot about the owner of this company!). I purchased a tree, and had it delivered to my home. The gentleman who made the delivery was named Dan. He was terrific! He gave me some tips on planting the tree and brought the tree around to the backyard. He had also been with Dundee for 35+ years! To all the Dundee guys that helped me: GREAT JOB! I highly recommend this nursery!

I received a $150 gift card for Dundee as a new home gift a few years ago and we are currently looking to install a patio and other landscaping. Sadly, they are unwilling to honor it since the garden center has closed. I asked to use it toward design/install and was again told no. That feels very unfair that you’ve kept the money and are unwilling to honor a gift card that has no expiration date. It’s one thing if a business closes entirely but you are continuing with a line of business that I was willing to work with you on and should be allowed to use the gift card or get a discount since you have the money that was supposed to be used for services for me…ie: landscaping design and large patio. $150 feels like a drop in the hat when it’s a $30k+ project. Pretty awful way to treat people.

Growing up and living right on Medicine Lk, Dundee has been our go-to for decades. Sad to hear they’re moving. Best place for landscape, potted anything, flowers, you name it!

I’m a complete gardening novice and every time I shop for flowers I have a bunch of questions. At Dundee the employees are always so patient and helpful and their selection is amazing. Most recently Jackie helped me pick several flowers for our front yard and I truly appreciated the time she spent with me. I’ve been to many other garden stores in the area but never get the kind of help I do at Dundee.

We purchased mainly perennials last summer from them. One variety did not survive the winter. In inquiring about replacing them, per what we thought was their policy, as shared by the sales person, we were told that the replacement policy was only for shrubs, not perennials. In asking to speak to the manager, the receptionist returned and simply told me that the manager agreed with her. In other words, the manager could not be bothered with a concerned customer. I did replace the plants with a nursery in the Buffalo area that specifically explained, without me asking, that their guarantee covers all perennials. It is well worth the extra miles–the plants are just as good, the prices are better, and we felt valued as a customer.
