I have used James at Garden Concepts for two full landscape projects, including pool design. The first project was an extensive design on a 2-acre lot. He took it from nice to amazing! It felt like a beautiful park, and made every moment spent outdoors a joy. There are so many things I appreciate about his expertise, not just in creating a beautiful space, but also making sure it all functions as it should. We had horrible flooding issues when our rare heavy rains came to So Cal. He solved the problems with proper drains. Every aspect of the project was thoughtfully considered to make a cohesive whole that was incredible. Fast forward a few years to our move to a 1/4 acre tract home. Most wouldn’t consider using a landscape designer or architect in a small space. I’m so glad we did! Again, James created a design that incorporated everything on our wish list without making our yard feel crowded. Everyone who steps into our back yard is surprised to see so many beautiful features expertly laid out (pool, patio, bbq, fire pit, garden boxes, fruit trees, beautiful plants and flowers). James is professional, kind, smart and talented. I highly recommend him, and am currently working on a third project with him.
