I feel like I’ve been ripped off. I have been with Peak for several years and for personal reasons decided to cancel my service. I was shocked when I was told I would be charged till the end of my contract. WHAT CONTRACT? When I signed up it was a contract for 3 years and that has long passed. I was then told my contract automatically renews every year. RESULT? I’m currently paying for almost 6 months for a dead horse. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! OH, by the way, your cameras suck.

Frustrated! In today’s world of no contracts this company will add huge penalties for early contract terminations. $1,265 early termination penalty!!!! They have a license to steal and that is exactly what they did from me. Not only will I never use this company again, I will tell everyone I know what a rip off company they are and that they are thieves. Update: So much for you guys trying to make it right. After calling YOU multiple times and multiple promises of a return call (which I never received), you turned me into collections! Never, never, never do business with this company! If I could give you a negative 5 stars I would.

I would do 0 stars if I could. We have Peak Alarm @ our office. Frequently the app just keeps timing out over and over again until I give up. Sometimes it will work after 20 minutes of trying. I specifically would only sign a one year contract, and they “auto renew” every year without making it clear, so now I am stuck with horrible service for 6 more months.

I just had a good experience with Jeff, a service/install technician from Peak Alarm. I am doing some remodeling in a small warehouse I own and needed my alarm panel, modem and door sensors all moved. When we called to see how soon we could get someone here, we were told next week sometime. That would have set our project back a ways but then they checked with Jeff to see if he would go this afternoon on his way home and he said okay! Jeff took care of it. It took about 90 minutes. Now my project moves forward without a delay. Thanks again, Jeff!

Car A277 on the highway swerving through traffic & crossing double white lines. Will not ever use them for this reason. Can’t trust them on the road so why would I trust them with my security?

I had the service since 2015. Never used it. Was paying and then received notice I needed to pay for a system upgrade. Decided to stop service and not deal with upgrade. Since then the alarms are going off intermittently for different reasons. Nothing is connected, units are unplugged. Have spent hours dealing and it still keeps going off. It is so unbelievably frustrating. .

I would not have given this company a one star if I could have written a review without doing so. This has been a very frustrating service to deal with. We had moved and left the equipment with the new owner’s. We notified the alarm company of what we were doing and they explained that everything was good to go and we were caught up and owed nothing that the new owners would be responsible. I guess the new owners decided not to use them and instead of us being notified that they were not, a year later they turned us over to collections after we made several attempts to explain to them what had happened. Also when we were using them the window alarms fell off all the time. We had to super glue them to make them stay attached. BE AWARE!! I am now paying a collection company for equipment that I don’t even have!
