We had an older intercom system and were looking for a upgrade to current technology. I called Douglass and told him what we wanted. He emailed a very detailed quote and it was a deal. We scheduled the install on Tuesday and by Thursday afternoon we had our intercom system upgraded. It is exactly what we needed. Douglass, our tech said he would arrive between 8-9 AM pm and 8:30 he was at our front door ready to go to work. Douglass knows his stuff and worked fast and clean. He was very good at teaching us our system. Web site set up and controls, phone app setup and controls. So let me sum this up and why I gave them all 5 stars. A. On-time! B. 2 hour upgrade took one hour! C. Douglass explained everything we needed to know! D. No mess very clean work! E. Douglass gave me his cell number and answered it when we called with questions before our install! On-time, fast clean service, The Intercom Doctor answered their phone every time I called. Oh and did I forget to say our new intercom system looks great. Very happy with our experience and highly recommend The Intercom Doctor.

I recently purchased my first home in Elizabeth, and I wanted to have a security system installed before I moved in the following week. I had a not-so-great previous experience with another company but I didn’t know any local alarm system installation companies. I contacted The Security Doctor for an estimate based on my research online and by a recommendation from a coworker who used them to install new intercom system. Julian was able to come out the next day of me calling to set up an estimate and completed my install a few days later (prior to my move-in date, as promised). Everything was installed quickly and they were very neat and tidy. Julian was even nice enough to help me change the faceplate of my thermostat once he finished the install, which saved me having to call someone else. By way of update, I called The Security Doctor to advise them of an issue and Julian called me back immediately. He gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him whenever I was home and available to troubleshoot the unit. Given my work schedule, this was at a very random time in the morning about 3 days after I called initially. Julian walked me through about 15 minutes of troubleshooting and was patient while I fumbled through getting the faceplate off and cycling both my wireless router and alarm system. Everything is working perfectly again. And, unfortunately for Julian, I’ve saved his cell phone number in my phone! Thank you Julian for all the help. Hope not to “bother” you again till the time to upgrade the system will arrive.

I contacted The Intercom Doctor when my current security company could not get my system to work for more than a few days at a time. After several service calls, which I was charged for, and several days of missed work for specialists to visit my home, I still didn’t have a working system. Decided to try a different security company and called The Intercom Doctor. Kingston came out and realized the problem immediately. He took over my system. He moved and installed fire and carbon monoxide detectors that would actually save a life. They were knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of my home while they worked. The Intercom Doctor charges the same amount as the other company for monitoring but give you full service in return. I strongly recommend them for homeowners. You are just another little account to those big companies. The Intercom Doctor took my “little” account and treated me like I was their most important “big” one. Many companies in Edison need to learn from The Doctor.

We couldn’t be more pleased or impressed by our entire experience with The Intercom Doctor. We had a consultation earlier in the week with a different alarm company that also service the Elizabeth area, and something about the system just wasn’t sitting well with us. Plus, the other company’s salesperson told us it would take a couple of weeks to get their system installed after we signed a contract. I heard about The Intercom Doctor from a coworker and found them on Google. We made the call to The Intercom Doctor at 3pm and had a rep out the next morning at 9 by our request. Their equipment is state of the art and since I did my research I knew Bob is not BS me when he tell me that this is the best system money can buy. We ended up signing with The Intercom Doctor the same day because they were so confidence inspiring and informative. Our system was installed THE NEXT DAY. Arriving promptly at the time expected, our installation technician instantly put us at ease. When you’re walking a stranger through your home and exposing all your vulnerabilities, you need to feel comfortable. Bob was friendly, competent, polite, and genuinely trustworthy. He didn’t rush, and he was extremely patient with us as he showed us our new system. I’m pretty sure he worked overtime to compensate for our learning curve. Altogether, this system and our installer really did make us feel The Intercom Doctor. Recommended!

It took a while to find the right company, so I am going to try and save you some time and tell you that The Intercom Doctor can do it all. Installed new IP Cameras system, and 8 apartment’s intercom system. On time for the meeting, on time for installation.

The Intercom Doctor is the best intercom installer/repairer you will find. I wasn’t sure if the access control to our office can be fixed or we need to replace it (Installed 7 years ago). One of the worst thing that can happen is to pay a lot of money for a new intercom system and then two weeks later when he starting to give you a hard time you call the company you installed it and you’ll find out that they don’t pick up the phone. This is very frustrating. But at least I made the angels from the intercom doctor. After I explain to her my situation they told me they’re going to send someone to do the best they can for us. And they did. Send a technician in charge me the minimal charge just to get the system up and running. All I can tell you is that I wish I knew about them earlier. Thank you so much.
