Woodharbor Kitchen and Bath 2 months agoI highly recommend Woodharbor Kitchen, Bath, and Home. They provide gorgeous quality cabinets and great customer service! These quality cabinets come in several styles and finishes from which to choose. The cabinet company did a great job of customizing our flawless cherrywood bathroom vanity. It is absolutely beautiful! The Woodharbor team also did a fantastic job of staining the cherrywood trim and baseboards to blend nicely with the vanity. The owner and his team provided us with outstanding customer service. The vanity cabinet and millwork were delivered on time which was very important to us. The owner also included cherrywood colored stain sticks if our carpenter needed it. There were no damages from shipping. This very well built custom vanity came from Mason City, Iowa. It was handled with care. It was very well wrapped and boxed. The vanity also came with a white easy to wipe liner on the inside of the cabinet. We appreciate that extra touch!

Remodeling Contractors 3 weeks agoI unfortunately had a terrible experience attempting to have Remodeling Contractors work with us to replace and install a patio door. After coming to our home to take measurements and provide a quote, Remodeling Contractors asked me to go to Beisser Lumber and pick out the door as this is a vendor they work with closely. I had never heard of Beisser and was directed to their location and specifically who to work with at Beisser. I went, picked out a door in their showroom, they wrote up a quote. A no time did I provide measurements or further information. I sent the quote I received to Sarah at RC. She discussed the quote with Beisser. She then directed me to place the order because apparently Beisser had quoted a lower price to me than RC could receive. I called back and asked them to pull up the quote they had discussed with Sarah and asked them to order the door. A few months later, the door arrives and RC shows up to install. They first ask me to sign an install contract, which I do. They then proceed to open the door and discover it opens and closes in the wrong direction. Instead of taking any responsibility for this $3k door, they say it is between me and Beisser, that they don’t order doors or supplies for clients, and that they don’t provide any measurements per their “policy” that I’ve never seen. Beisser refuses to take back or exchange the door because supposedly it is a custom order due to them not stocking it, even though it was on their showroom floor and is standard sized. I didn’t find this door randomly online and I never provided measurements, Sarah at RC did. Zak then tries telling me not all is lost, I have a contract to install the wrong-way door, and they would still install it. This is not a solution. After knowing the owner for years, I was shocked and dismayed to be led astray and then to be completely dismissed. Not to mention I’ve supported a non profit he manages, and previously mis-directed several Remodeling clients to his business. Likely, they will comment that this issue is my fault as ultimately I placed the order. If this is how they do all their business, please run far away before you too are left with an unusable $3k door sitting in your garage. Update…still have door in 2024. Still no resolution. Still run far!

Kitchen Refresh Des Moines 2 months agoKitchen refresh did our kitchen and all of our bathrooms and we are very happy with the results. They kept us informed throughout the process and the employees were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire job was done in a matter of days instead of the weeks it would have taken to do a tear out. We are also very pleased with the final product and find it both modern and fresh as well as functional.

They are highly skilled in a variety of construction methods, made good recommendations, and paid a lot of attention to details. We are very happy with the renovation of our bathrooms.

Bath Planet of Central Iowa a day agoThe rep Cancy was great! She showed up on time and listened to what we wanted. The installer Chet was here right at 8am and got the job finished by 4pm. This is a great company and I recommend them to anyone
