3 months agoThomas installed a hardwired camera system for my family home, we were debating between Ring and Next, but we made the right choice. we are all sleeping, much more easy at night knowing that we can look at our cameras at any time and see what’s going on. Great installation and a pleasure to work with them.

4 months agoWe chose Desert Alarm because we wanted to support local, as we are a small and independent business ourselves – Las Palmas Brewing. We had a break in recently, and the alarm did not disarm, leaving the burglars to ransack the place. We understand an alarm system is not going to prevent burglars from trying, but when the service does not work as it’s suppose to, it leaves you wondering – what are we paying for? Unfortunately, after a weekend’s worth of back and forth with Desert Alarm, and having their technician, Cesar, tinkering with the system during operating hours, closing the doors on my customers so he can diagnose the issue. He says “everything is working fine, you should contact supervisor Reyna”. They settled on blaming the failed system on our landline provider and their connection issue. Washing their hands clean and saying “sorry about what happened, but we’d love to offer you our new wireless system to prevent this from happening again – free of charge”. They refused to take any accountability for their product. I asked to be refunded for the year as we pay it in full upfront, and they flat out told me – “no, we will not do that”. Shame on you Desert Alarm. Do better. *** UPDATE & RESPONSE: Feb 26th, 2024 *** I am not changing the narrative. In fact, everything you are defending I clearly mentioned in my original statement. I don’t understand why you would even offer a service that has any potential in failing when it comes to security, but that’s besides the point. I asked for a refund. I believe most people, including yourself, in my position would too. After a very long conversation, Desert Alarm denied, and instead offered me an upgrade. I explained that the only way I can trust D.A. again is if I got a refund to what I’ve paid up to this point ($538 confirmed by Johanne), and then I’d be glad to consider moving forward with our partnership. Bottom line is, a refund amount of $538 was worth more to Desert Alarm than keeping a business relationship healthy. I’m glad this dispute is now on a public platform, and I hope you continue to respond to my issue so anyone looking to do business with D.A. can make their own decision. You have my contact info if YOU wish to reconsider your solution. Otherwise, best of luck.

4 months agoStaffing was amazing in helping with one of our urgent needs. Manny in the field Fransisca and Johanna especially in the office were true assets in making the system takeover seamless. Communication, urgency are top quality.

7 months agoHorrible customer service. Horrible equipment. Poor interfaces. You re much better going with a national brand then these crooks. All they want is to lock you into a contract then provide poor service and force you to remain with them. They don’t abide by their own contracts and refuse to honor thier own return / cancellation policies. Don’t waste your time with them.

8 months agoBeen working with Desert Alarm for a couple of years now, and they have been very attentive and prompt with their service. Johanna has been very helpful when it came time to renew and get new alarms installed.
