They were very professional. Everything was explained to me and it was my choice as to what was done. Their prices are fair and the monthly rate is affordable for someone on a fixed income. When I called with a problem they were here the same day and took the time to figure out and fix the problem. I definitely give them 5 stars I would give them more if I could.

In 2015 this company installed a security system and some Ethernet cables for me. Had to call them a few days later because of a sensor falling off because they used cheap tape and inconsistent mounting techniques. They fixed it 2 days later. Inspect the Ethernet runs years later to find lots of patch connections with tape for when they accidentally cut a cable too short and didn’t want to re-run it or jump in the attic and undue the snagged connection to pull the extra 2 feet of Ethernet. Asked for 20 feet of extra run on every connection, inspect it later to find all the connections have less than 3 feet of extra cable at the termination points. When asked why run all the cables through a big hole in the wall instead of terminating in a jack. They said it’s to make the run have less connection points and breaks. But they had hidden breaks throughout the install. Extra holes drilled where they made mistakes and hide them behind mounts. If the cameras are mounted with 2 holes, the other 5 holes they drilled and left un-patched hidden behind the camera mount. All cameras were the same but for one camera, instead of tucking the factory connections in the case, they drilled a bigger hole in the wall behind the camera so they could tuck the cables there instead. Revisiting their work has been a nightmare. I have to re-run Ethernet to replace all the joint connections they did with tape. But before i can get to that, I have a lot of hole patching to do for holes that shouldn’t even be there. The 5 star reviews for this company that aren’t from themselves and employees are from people who don’t yet know how bad of an installation they did. Networking and wire runs are funny in the fact that you can botch a job and it still work in the beginning. Camera streams can work with a flaky connection until things start deteriorating down the road. When you start dropping packets and having unreliable connections down the road as tape starts to deteriorate, you’ll be wishing things were done right the first time. The plan to just replace the cameras this weekend has turn into a full re-install and repair job.

Once again we called Guardian when we decided to have outside security cameras installed. And once again they did a perfect job!! We were so pleased with Brody as he patiently explained (more than once) how we could monitor the cameras using our phones. Great job!

Dale and his crew installed a security system at my business. He never called to set any installation date or time, they just showed up over the Christmas holiday when we were closed. Dale me how easy it is to get my cameras on my phone when he was selling me the system, can’t get on to this day. Dale sent a “tech” over to install the remote connection, the tech tried to set it up and ended up screwing up my office, I went without internet connection at all for several days. I had to pay my IT guys to come and straighten that up, at a cost to me of $125.00. Never did hook up remote to this day. I have cameras that are not operating in less than a year. You should see how they left the wires going into the DVR, they just slipped them in without securing the line to the input and the cable just falls out at any given time. If one falls out I have to go back and slip it in the coupling and push hard and hope.

Great to deal with! They have the experience, tools and knowledge to do the job. The technicians explained the system to us and went over everything and really made sure we understood the system. They did a clean and professional job. Our new security system looks great and works great. We look forward to working with Guardian Security Systems again in the future.

“The Best”! I had 5 security cameras installed at my home. When I called for an estimate the owner, Mr. R. Dale Cavaretta, came to give the estimate. He looked thing over and gave me a price the following morning. I had obtained 2 other estimates but accepted Dales proposal and was scheduled for the installation within 2 weeks. His workmen were fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and most of all very neat. The equipment that was installed was hard wired, high definition, top quality; No Junk. Guardian Security System offers the best. You will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough positive words about Guardian Security Systems in Ormond Beach. I have a monitored alarm system as well as a 9 camera surveillance system with them and the service, if needed, has been perfect. My surveillance system has already paid for itself by capturing a would-be thief on camera that led to his arrest and conviction. Thank you everyone at Guardian Security Systems
