Whatever you do, do not use this company or sign anything! Their customer service is horrific and their cost for equipment is robbery. The rep even entered our security code incorrectly. They charge $700 to cancel contract even if you sell your home and move out of state. They charge $100 per sensor. I have received false information and wasted over 7 hours on the phone with these people. Please save yourself the hassle and money and look elsewhere.

It took 6 months to send the service guy to fix the malfunction, and when it didn’t work twice, I called and asked them to come and get the lock & cameras they installed. They didn’t reply to me since then Jul 2019 , i sold the house in June 2020, and they kept billing me for years i guess. And 5 years later they just put me on collection. And they explain the (evergreen law) = “Auto renewal” EVEN AFTER CANCELATION! which I’ve never heard of before while the fraudulent sales person told me it’s 2 years contract only because that’s what I asked for. I got around 10 voicemail from them just to remind me with this old trauma with new one and that’s a $1,400 collection Update I paid the collection Ransom on May 9th – 60 days ago and they never care to update the equafax information Only pay the via escrow if you want collection to be removed It’s disgusting how these kind of businesses get a way with these things.

DO NOT USE SAFE HOME SECURITY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STUCK WITH THEIR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’ve spent hours on the phone with them requesting to cancel my service, to the point where they were arguing with me! One of my store alarm systems’ cell units stopped communicating with the monitoring center. I called Safe Home Security and was only given two options: 1. I would have to pay $100 plus parts for a service call, or 2. I would have to sign up for a three-year service contract. I did not want to do either, and since I was on a month-to-month agreement I said I wanted to cancel the sevices. Now Safe Home Security will not give me ownership of the cell units. The original contracts from the company that I signed up with states that the customer owns the equipment after installation. Safe Home Security purchased my two contracts from the original company sometime in June 2023. I was not told that this was going to occur, and I was not sent new agreements. However, Safe Home Security refuses to honor the original contract terms that the customer in the owner of the alarm system after installation. There’s more points of frustration that I experienced, including being billed after canceling my service, and then not being able to log onto my account or reset my password using the correct email address UNTIL I spoke with Safe Home Security’s billing department for them to MANUALLY reset my password, in order for me to delete auto-pay. Such a SCAM! SAFE HOME SECURITY HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND USES DECEPTIVE TACTICS TO LOCK YOU INTO THEIR SERVICE! Please avoid for your own sanity! UPDATE: Even after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about Safe Home Security not honoring the terms of the original contract, Safe Home Security still refuses to release the alarm panel cell IMEIs to me.
