I recently learned that Camden Apartments uses this security company, and the interactions with some of the security guards have been downright rude and disrespectful. I’ve had guards aggressively ask if I live in the apartment, threatened to tow cars, and yelled at me for letting my dog use a designated bathroom area on the 1st floor even though the leasing office confirmed it was fine. I’ve also seen officers literally sleeping in their cars during shifts. The point of security guards is to make tenants feel safe and comfortable in their complex. The guards from York Security were unnecessarily rude towards tenants and guests and did not create a positive environmental at all.

I’m sure the company is great but they need to address the rules to their employees. I deal with one who’s making everything personal and has openly admitted it

I put a star cause they won’t post 0 stars! Please do not hire this company they are paid to watch the shopping mall my office is at and every other day you can tell they weren’t patrolling because I find homeless ppl or their trash all across the front of our office piss in cups or lamps and shopping carts, they are lazy point blank and when I called to file a complaint with Mitchell no one called back so now we are here try any of the other 11 companies in Raleigh but AVOID YORK SECURITY you can secure your property much better alone then they can and they have “round the clock security”

These people are Worthless!! I notified them about a White Dodge Caravan- Florida Plates- 368-YYZ. This van has been parking overnight in Front of Whole Foods at Waverly Place, Cary NC. License Plates Expired over 14 years!! No Drivers license, No Insurance, No Inspection. The guys name is “Rick”. I have talked to almost everyone at York Security, even Mike & Abdullah -(who are the security on the property during the week) Even York, in Raleigh, NC. I have talked to CBRE/Raleigh- Property Management, as well as Cary Police. Nobody does anything! He overnights at Waverly Place/Whole Foods, then leaves around 9:30am… to drive down Kildaire Farm Rd., to Starbucks across from USPS/ by Wrenn Dr. to use WIFI. He then drives back to Waverly Place around 4:30pm… to overnight at Waverly Place. This has been going on for well over 2 1/2 years!! He was as Crescent Commons/ Cary NC… But they now have Security with Eagle Eye Security. They kicked him off that property. Sad… the Public is at Risk with this guy driving up and down the road. And nobody will do Anything !!! Keep a eye out for this van!!

Was supposed to have an interview with Ron Reich. Very unprofessional company and based on all the other reviews, You should probably look elsewhere for employment or a security contract.

I worked For York Security during the pandemic. It is a great company to work for. The management there are very professional and supportive. Ron Reich is an awesome manager. He is very inspirational and he gives the Security team excellent motivation to achieve our goals. Also Ryan Diggs is a great person as well to work for he is always brings positive energy in the workplace . Even though I no longer work for York Security, if you are looking for a great Security company to work for I recommend that you apply at York Security. They are a great company to work for and they always support there employees.
