Up Build Renovation 5 months agoWe hired Up Build Renovation to carry out a total kitchen renovation and first-floor makeover on our home which was built in 1984. Their work process included a new floor plan, design, detailed quote, and execution timeline. They worked with us throughout the process complementing our ideas. Once started, they worked tirelessly transforming the kitchen into a warm centerpiece for our family and for entertaining. The work crew was always on time, demonstrated complete professionalism, and kept the area as clean as possible. Any problems or challenges were brought to our attention immediately followed with a proposed solution. We are thrilled with the look and feel of the kitchen and the quality of their work. Everything, floors, walls, ceilings, painting, cabinet installs, and appliance installs, was done to the highest standard. We believe we got more than our money’s worth from Up Build and highly recommend them.

TriVistaUSA Design + Build 2 months agoWe purchased our 1936 Cape Cod style home shortly after we got married. We loved our neighborhood and our neighbors, but as we grew our family, it became clear we needed more space. We really didn’t want to leave our neighborhood and decided we would move only if we couldn’t find a company that would give us the additional space we needed while also keeping the charm and quirkiness that made us by our home in the first place. We met with Tri-Vista after hearing rave reviews from friends who had used them for their own home upgrade. Five minutes into our initial meeting we knew we had found our team. TriVista is a design/build firm which was appealing to us from the beginning. What sets TriVista apart is the continuous synergy and collaboration throughout the entire design and build process. TriVista combined our vision with the creativity and expertise of their team to create a design perfectly tailored to our family. We are convinced it was serendipitous that Kieran was the architect assigned to our project. He is magical and created a plan that gave us everything we needed. Carlos and Bethany, our design team, nailed our aesthetic and helped us create a visually stunning space, both inside and out. As many in Arlington do, we experienced some difficulty in obtaining our permits (we don’t blame TriVista at all). Steve Inch, and the rest of his team, had creative solutions to minimize the impact of these delays on our overall timeline. Boyd and Effie, the most extraordinary project management team, kept us well informed and beautifully managed our myriad requests and were honest about the cost (both in terms of time and money) of the various whims we had during the project. We will truly miss our weekly meetings with them! Everyone has heard the nightmare stories of home renovation projects, but that was not the case with TriVista! They gave us the custom home of our dreams. Importantly, they anticipated and planned for any issue that often occurs when renovating an old home. We couldn’t be happier with the process or the results. We would strongly encourage anyone considering home renovations (or anyone who is currently considering moving) to give the TriVista team the opportunity to make your dream home a reality.

They just wrapped up remodeling portions of our guest bedroom and closet to make them far more usable, including some beautiful built-in shelves/racks. Looking forward to working with them again!
