Sievers was good a good company, but the company that bought them are complete unresponsive. Called twice and waited 30 minutes each time to put a system in test for an annual fire inspection. Guardian is the WORST! Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

How very sad they sold to Guardian. Not only did they do my autopay I have had for years they send me a bill. I was told they are having glitches with switching over. I asked how long ago and they tell me a month and half ago. I call and am put on hold for 25 minutes just to make a service appointment only to be told I don’t have a service contract that I have had for years. After insisting they check again they agree and then tell me there is a $30 fee to come out with Guardian, so they don’t honor the contract I had with Sievers. Change is not always good but I’ll see on Friday when they are suppose to come out and check my system in which the smoke detector isn’t working proper.

This company is local and the service is prompt and personally fitted to your needs. I see negative reviews concern their servicemen’s performance. I noticed that too occasionally, the serviceman had to take his time to fix a problem but my issues were always corrected to my satisfaction. On the important positive note, in a few incidents that I accidentally triggered false alarm, the police were at my door within minutes.

I also do not write reviews but I am soooo mad with this company. Like many other reviews they never did the original job we had agreed on. We let that go, that was a mistake. Now we have been having issues with a “low battery” after MANY failed attempts and misinformation we are exactly where we were months ago with no resolution. They are quick to charge you for a service charge though. Ready to move on to another company, glad our contract will be up soon!
