3 years agoAttic ladder install was done horribly wrong. First, the attic ladder was secured above the sheetrock and it was so offset and crooked that they actually cut out some of the foam insulation to close the attic door. Second, the sheetrock work was very poor. The new handy man service I hired to fix this mess he made spent an entire day resetting the ladder, cutting and installing the trim correctly, texturing the ceiling and painting. The picture I am uploading below explains it! I texted him a couple of times after I went upstairs and saw his work. He never returned any of my texts and I never saw him again. Do not use this guy he has no idea what he is doing. It cost me double to fix his mistakes and clean up the mess he made.

3 years agoCory portrayed himself as an honest person. He subcontracted all the work we asked him to do and did not pay them. He lied to his subcontractors that he wasn’t paid by us after he was already paid $14,000 out of $17,500 contracted to renovate the interior and exterior of our home. One his subcontractors contacted us requesting proof of payment to Mr. Cory. He did not complete our project as promised and is still refusing to complete the remaining 2 projects in order to be paid the remaining $3,500 and reimbursement for items he purchased. He is now demanding an extra $5,000 plus above our signed contract and is now seeking legal action for lying to us. I wasn’t planning on leaving this of review but I have to warn the public of Mr. Cory and his organization. If you plan on using him, make sure you list everything you want him to fix, buy your own items and keep your receipts, have a signed contract with actual fees to avoid surprises from Mr. Cory. You have been warned.
