A few weeks ago Joe O’Keefe of Liberties Handyman Services hung a very large picture above my sofa. It looks great! I had contacted Liberties based on the numerous glowing reviews. I figured if the company was nearly as good as the reviews suggested that I would not be disappointed. So I took a chance, and hired Liberties. Joe was every bit as good as his other customers described. His website accurately described the scope of his services. His estimate was appropriate for the job. He arrived on time and had all the right equipment. He took his time to do the job right. His communication was excellent before, during and after the work was done. Mr. O’Keefe is multi-talented, and I will definitely hire him in the future to do additional work at my home.

Joe installed our Frame TV and did an absolutely incredible job. The installation process was much more challenging and time-consuming than originally anticipated, but Joe worked patiently until the job was done. He charged us fairly for the extra time, and we are 100% satisfied with the results of his work. We would use Liberties Handyman Services again in a heartbeat.

We asked to have our tv mounted…little did we know that included having to snake a wire through the wall that turned out to be so much more complicated than we expected. We felt so bad, but Joe was so professional and nice and did the job so quickly. TV looks great. Would certainly recommend them for handy work and will use them again!

I’m so thankful for this guy. I can actually sit in my living room now. And I want to be there because of him help. He’s nice. He came on time. I had previously had this thing and shambles. Trying to put it together and he walked into a travesty and Turn my fireplace t v stand in two a masterpiece. I will be calling him for all of my future home projects. I love this guy.

we are new to our home in philadelphia, and joe has helped us “re-build” to a custom level of just how we want things laid out. we have had him over 5 times now, for 20 so projects, and each one ends (and begins for us) with a quality of workmanship lacking from any other source. we have never even thought of looking elsewhere for another handyman. joe is intuitive, with an ethic of intelligence and design which is so helpful in situations such as ours: he visualizes a solution and its always just what we are looking for. all his projects are flawless, with fit and finish one might expect from a professional. his projects for us span installing shelves, wall-mounts and mirrors, shower grout and waterproofing/weather stripping and several closet storage systems. each and every project, properly done and imaginatively thought out. punctual, quiet, diligent and talented. qualities embodied by the best of the best.

Joe was responsive, communicative, punctual, accomodating, and qualified to do the repairs he was doing. A few things to highlight: -Joe took on several extra tasks that we had not necessarily discussed at the time he gave me the estimate. -Joe was seemingly honest with me about the scope of work that would really be necessary to address my concerns. I hired a handyman because I do not know how to do these things myself; that could easily have been taken advantage of. But he sort of even dissuaded me from doing certain things I had initially wanted, explaining why they weren’t entirely necessary. -Joe was seemingly honest about his own abilities, recommending I instead call another professional for certain tasks. A less honest handyman might have accepted my money and went ahead with a subpar repair.

Joe built us a new alley door to fit in the existing framing of our rowhome and it looks fantastic. He also built and installed a railing for our basement steps. He is detail oriented, thorough, and reasonably priced. We will definitely reach out to him again for future house projects.
