When we purchased our home in Helena, he had three windows left to install. The windows and labor were completely paid for and we have receipts and a written commitment to finish the work. We have been trying to get him to come finish the work for over a year now. At first he would answer our calls and keep putting us off, but now he hasn’t returned our calls/emails for months.

Alpha Handyman Services has been busy saving my sanity; assembling “some assembly required” furniture — cube cabinets, mudroom bench, office chair, and a laundry basket. Next week, Alpha Handyman will paint a tired old vanity cabinet in their new paint room. They’ve picked up and delivered on time.

My experience with Alpha was terrible. I called the number on their website to set up an appointment. I needed some sheet rock replaced and I needed a railing installed on our staircase. The gentleman (forgot his name) showed up on time to give me an estimate. He was very polite. He gave me the estimate, and I told him I needed to have the work done within two weeks. He assured me this would not be a problem, and then told me he’d call me to schedule a time. He never called. Finally, I called him after one week, and he apologized for never getting back to me, and he said he would call me the next day to schedule a time. Again, he never called. Finally, I texted him letting him know I was still waiting for him to get back to me. By this point, I was against a deadline. The work HAD to be done. Again, no response. I have the call record and the text to prove the dates I reached out. Alpha Handyman Services was completely unprofessional, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. After their failure to fulfill the promise to get the work done, I hired another handyman named Tom Bowen. He did an amazing job. It’s simply unacceptable how I was treated by Alpha. I hope they read this and decide to change how they do business.

I can’t say how glad I am that I found Alpha Handyman Services. They have installed attic eave vents, a new attic door, insulated with a ladder, and worked on my homes rock foundation. The attic vent project that I began with, I had a horrible time getting anyone to return my calls, so when John answered and said he could stop by and look at the project, I was ecstatic. That project went wonderfully and flowed right into the replacement of my attic door entrance. Again, I was very pleased with the work done. The rock foundation project was quiet a labor intensive, since the crawl space had to be cleared of some of the dirt in order to access the entire foundation. John and his crew did another great job. I recommend Alpha Handyman Service to anyone whether it’s a small or large home improvement.

John was very knowledgeable about all phases of construction. He was always available for us and very good at answering any questions we had. His price was fair and he met the construction schedule we had. They left the house very clean when he finished. I would use his company in the again and would recommend them to any other prospective customers. Bill H.

John with Alpha handyman is THE MAN to contact. After years of terrible experiences of inadequate “professionals” who expounded their skills (i.e. Lack of!) John came along and what a God send he has been. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He is honest, he shows up on time, he is kind, sincere, he cleans up the mess made, as well as discussing all problems and solutions should they arise. A real blessing to our community!
