Lost about 2 1/2 hours of paid time for worker to pick a part from the hardware store and cool off and leave to get a drink. $130 an hour lost. The worker could not cut the top of the , custom, like showed the company photos of ahead of time. He told me how I should should cut the the top of 6”x6” post off and go buy a special, double sided screw to put the old top onto the new post myself???He took a 3’ x 6”x 6” post with him??

Was in need of an handyman for a project that I was unable to do myself. Called scheduled an appointment with the personable lady by the name of Katrina whom was very friendly and helpful. Within a timely manor a date was set. Anthony from Ace Handyman Services was on time honest , and his work ethics were very much appreciated. He did a great job put these guys on speed dial.

We needed a shower door installed and we found working with Ace Handyman Services an excellent way to get it done. Our technician Austin did a great job on the installation. The pricing was transparent and the cost was reasonable. We decided to use their services to get additional work done.

AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I went with this company because I trusted the Ace Hardware name, and there are good reviews. However, my experience with them was not good. This was a pretty good-sized job – refurbishing my deck and screen room. It started out okay – the guy that came out seemed competent enough. He wasn’t able to finish before winter, and we paused until spring/early summer. That part was my mistake – never again will I split up a job like that. Anyway, by the time we got started again, the original guy had quit the company, and they sent someone else (ANTHONY – YOU DON’T WANT ANTHONY) who, in my opinion, wasn’t nearly as skilled. He was very sloppy. In the end, I realized I was just going to have to clean up after him. For example, he was a messy caulker and left caulk smudges all along the walls of the screen room. There were a number of things like that. I felt I was just going to have to cut my losses with him. Anyway, when finally everything was done (he had returned for a few hours to touch up a few things), I was looking things over, and I noticed some stains on my new paver patio. I brought it up to him. He told me it was WD-40 and that it wouldn’t stain. I told him I didn’t agree and asked him to clean it up. He did try to clean it, but you couldn’t tell right away because the patio was wet. Later when it dried, the stains were still there. I wrote the company and sent a picture, and the office got back to me and said that they talked to Anthony, and that he said he did not use ANY spray or WD-40. He also told them that there was nothing discussed about it. WHAT?! They wanted me to send a picture of the whole patio so they could zoom in to look at before and after photos. Okay, so Anthony is a bad employee, but where I am most upset is that I was called a liar. You should also know that the office has had a number of changes to employees over these last six months as well. I would say if you are doing a quick small job, maybe they’d be okay, I don’t know. This is the only thing I have ever had them do. I wouldn’t hire them for anything big. I think you’ll be sorry. I know I won’t ever use them again for anything.
