The work was completed as planned, on time and with quality. The entire set of projects was completed professionally by Megan and Adam, with competence and creativity and we plan to use their services in the near future on contemplated jobs.

I’ve had Hearth and Home out to my house many times, and I am always thrilled with the work they do. This time Tristan came out and did several jobs for us. He was extremely friendly and did a great job! I highly recommend Hearth and Home!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The work that was accomplished was well executed, the handyman on site was communicative and pleasant. A single day job was extended for safety concerns and the second visit determined the work couldn’t be done. I was charged quite a bit extra for a small amount of work on the second visit that could’ve been accomplished on day 1 had I known the bulk of remaining work couldn’t be handled by this organization. Terrible expectation setting and no customer service when speaking with the office staff. I will never use them again and would warn others against it as well. Shame since the work was high quality but it’s just not worth the hassle and frustration.

Started a bathroom project at the end of last year through Kendall Design + Build – Home Remodeling who owns this company. It was a small bathroom renovation. Everything started out great, but it became a very bad experience and continued to be so. We were gone for majority of the remodeling. Our project manager started out engaged and then communications started to really lack. We dealt with it on the account of the holidays. We also had asked for them to fix small dry wall in the bedroom which they found a leak behind. They indicated it was a roof leak so asked for them to fix it. Coming back after more than a month things were still not done. We received feedback from neighbors that they didn’t see too much activity at the house up until the end when we were due back. Not to inconvenience them, we rented a house five minutes away for two weeks and periodically checked in on the house since no one really provided updates. Really worked to accommodate them as much as possible. When we finally moved back in they were doing some last bit of work and inspection with very little notice and we had to work to accommodate it. They finally finished around early February. The end result was good but the with how much we paid definitely was not impressed by the management style. We decided to wrap it up on good terms as we were happy with the final product. Fast forward to mid April, we started noticing a leak below where the bathroom is located upstairs. Since the leak was also close to where they had touched the roof we suspected it may have been that. We called and asked for the roofer to come out. As part of bad management, they were adamant that the roofer didn’t touch this section. Couple weeks back when I was checking in on the house, I saw them actually working on that part of the roof. They indicated overall our roof is bad and these roofers would be willing to change it for 11k. We have had two other different roofers evaluate the roof once before and once after the renovation and they both indicated our roof was in good shape. It really feels disrespectful to be continuously dismissed by them. Unfortunately that was not the end. The one area that their roofers had indicated may be a problem we had a trusted roofer come and fix and it did not resolve the issue. Finally, we had to put a hole in our ceiling to see if it was the plumbing that links to the remodeled bathroom and it was. We called Kendall and they sent a plumber who had to cut behind our vanity to access the lines and found the leak. The plumber indicated it was definitely in the area they had been worked on and billed it back to the company. Two days later we get a text that there is a late fee for the invoice. We asked for them to look into it and she said she did and there was no way to prove it was because of their work. Very disrespectfully and unprofessionally they indicated that if we don’t pay by the same day they would initiate legal actions. The situation has been unpleasant but the disrespect from them was shocking. Continuously they did not believe us. Rather than dealing anymore with this company, we paid it to be done with them. Not worth dealing with the level of disrespect they showed.

Adam did a great job on our half-bath redesign. He put up the wood paneling and wallpaper flawlessly. Did a great job with the painting, as well. I will definitely call Hearth and Home again for future projects!

I can’t say enough good things about this company, beginning with their prompt responses, their customer service, their dependability, the quality of the tradesmen they assigned to my projects, the quality of the work performed, and the reasonable cost. Added to that is that this company met its every commitment. How often can you say that about contractors? H&H completed a lengthy and varied list of projects around my house for me in preparation for listing it for sale. The result was a beautiful showing and quick sale. When a last-minute accident just prior to closing occurred, I called the one company who I knew I could rely upon to help resolve it quickly, and H&H came through in the clutch. I love working with this company and now have them on speed dial for my future needs. Instead of taking my chances with various subcontractors and keeping a Rolodex, I will call H&H.

Stephen came by as scheduled and took care of the things I needed done. He worked efficiently and did a perfect job and cleaned up afterwards! He is a very pleasant gentleman, I do appreciate him coming out to help me. Hearth and Home is very easy to work. I will be using their services again.
