Finding Bill (Portland Home Projects) has been a game changer for me. I view him as my home-maintenance partner. He comes when he says he will, does what he promises (and does it really, really well), and uses creative problem solving to get the job done without spending money needlessly. His knowledgeable, cheerful demeanor is a lovely bonus. He’s done things from mundane maintenance tasks to more complicated projects and I have been very pleased with every single one.

I recently moved into an unfurnished apartment. Bill helped with furniture assembly and mounted a large decoration on the fragile plaster walls. Bill was highly professional and communicative, and everything came out looking great!

There are a lot of people out there who advertise that they do handyman services and claim they have lots of experience but… they are not all created equal. Bill is the real deal. He is one of those rare people in the greater Portland area who does truly good work, really cares about what he does, and absolutely wants his customers to be satisfied when he completes the job. I look for three things when hiring a handyman. A person who: (1) does quality work, (2) does it at a fair price, and (3) does it reliably and on-time. Bill (and his company Portland Home Projects) excels at all of these and is also just a really nice guy. He is clear about what he can and cannot do, is proud of his work, and is extremely trustworthy. Indeed, I am absolutely fine with him having the security code to my house (not something I would give to most people). If you want a highly capable and knowledgeable handyman, who does top-notch work, and is also a very nice person, don’t hesitate to contact Bill!
