Top A1 Contracting a year agoTop A1 contracting was great to work with. Jeremy and Adrian were very professional and helped every step of the way when we had a giant hail storm damage our roof. They worked with the insurance company and did all the heavy lifting. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The Kitchen & Bath Company 4 months agoGreat experience with Cody Broughton with Ankeny K&B Co. He worked hard to make sure my project’s completion was seamless. Quote was very competitive with turn times being quicker than expected. Cody was great at communicating when his guys would show up for measurements (and later) installation, and always followed up to make sure my needs were met.

RJI Professionals a month agoWe live in Nevada and weren’t familiar with RJI but were impressed with their honest approach to getting our business. A storm had damaged our roof and they were able to work with our insurance and get us the roof/gutters and window replacement. They had a great roof crew as well as gutter team. The window/patio door installers were pros as well. When there were issues (because let’s be honest, no matter how great, there will always be a hiccup or two), they were responsive (like super fast) and easy to work with! We recommended them to our next door neighbor and he used them for his roof too! We will continue to recommend them. Thanks for the cookies! 🙂

Pure Renovations 3 years agoBeware of these people!!! They start up many dba companies and change the name and contact information of these companies (verifiable through Iowa Secretary of State website). Highly unprofessional, didn’t have the experience or tools necessary to do the job. The owner- Dustin Kile also has a rather lengthy criminal history, including felony theft charges. I hired them when Dustin was under the company name Mr. Iowa Fix It, they had no clue what they were doing and cost me hundreds of dollars in materials and were asking me to provide them with money up front to rent tools that they did not have (this was after the job had already began). After unsuccessfully attempting to resolve the matter peacefully, I was left with no choice but to take them to small claims court, the judgement was in my favor and two years later they still have not paid a dime! I absolutely would NOT recommend doing business with these people! *** Dustin- I have the judgment order against you, all of the original emails (including you admitting liability and offering to reimburse me for damages your company caused- in the beginning prior to ignoring me), copies of the original google reviews for Mr. Iowa Fix It, copies of certified letters attempting to collect on the judgement and photographic evidence of the damage caused by you and your helpers. You have threatened me with suing for slander in the past and I will remind you that I am within my legal rights to give an honest review of your services and inform others of your negligence and irresponsibility. I have already won a case against you in small claims court which you failed to appear for. I hired a company who assured me that they had experience laying carpet and had experience with moisture barrier carpet padding as well (verifiable in emails and messages exchanged prior to being hired). If this wasn’t the case, the job should not have been accepted. The judgement is against Dustin Kile and against Mr. Iowa Fix It which was a dba company of Kile Investments, Inc owned by Dustin Kile. I never said I was asked for tools, I said that I was asked to front the money to rent tools (specifically a carpet stretcher and seam iron). If you are admitting your mistake and that there is a judgement against Mr Iowa Fix It then why aren’t you doing the right thing and paying what you owe? This will be my last communication here. I am not breaking any laws and am within my rights to share my experience with others, just because the company name isn’t the same doesn’t mean anything, it is still another dba company of Kile Investments, Inc (verified with an attorney). I will NOT have my freedom of speech rights threatened!

Midwest Bath Co of Des Moines 5 days agoI am very happy with the results of the installation of both the tub-shower and the separate shower. The whole process and communication with the Mid West Bath group has been excellent. The installer was professional and knowledgeable about the project and did excellent work.

Main Property Improvements 3 weeks agoDO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! Received estimate on siding replacement project. Paid 50% deposit and project was never started. Several attempts made via phone, text, mail and email to request refund have been ignored and/or unanswered. Business phone number on website no longer in service. They basically have stolen our money.
