Very unprofessional took money. Deposit than started giving stories which lead me to go run a back ground check OMG what I found was scary. Do your own check before hiring this guy. When I asked him about what I found on background he stated he will return my deposit $600 dollars in which he sent $75 back and since than just gave stories and never returned my money. Please do not hire this guy he is a scam

First let me start with the positive. Danny did repair some things that we were happy with which is why he gets one star. He replaced some tracking in our kitchen drawers, patched a hole and fixed some painting in a bedroom. However, he patched two other holes and it was not satisfactory. We had to fix them ourselves. He promised to make all that were unsatisfactory right. He did not. He asked for a good bit of money upfront. Normally we would not do that but given the current situation in our country and a lot of people struggling we did because we understand as my husband has been laid off for several months. We have to sell our home and relocate due to my husband being laid off which is why we needed Danny’s services to begin with. Last but not least we needed a door replaced. Danny said he would do that but did not have the money to purchase the door. Even though we had already given him over 1500.00 dollars. Hesitantly we gave him the money for the door because we really need it to list the house. Which by the way was another 220.00. That was 12 days ago. Danny has stopped ALL communication with us and we have no door or our money. Basically he stole from us. I am beyond angry and disappointed as I feel he has taken advantage of our generosity! I would not recommend him if he was the last handyman on earth. I have MULTIPLE texts from him saying he would bring the door and make good on his quote. He LIED!! I told him he could even return the money to us and we would call it a day. He has not and again stopped ALL communication. Beware. Danny does not do good business!!!!

J&D handy service did a great job installing my tv mounting and I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done. He was prompt, professional and offered exceptional customer service. I will be sure to recommend to my friends and family. Thank you so much!

Unfinished work and stolen property. I used J&D Handyman service to repair a whole in my wall (drywall). He (Mr. Daniel Baughcum) charged me $150 and additional $50 for a can of paint to complete the job. The job was started on the 15th of January 2021 and was to be completed on the 16th of January. On the 16th he was asked to arrive by 1pm, but showed up at 3pm. I had discussed additional work with him but said that it was to late to start the additional work because I had an appointment. J&D got upset saying that he was broke and took up his tools and left without completing the job and also taking my can of paint that he charged me an additional $50 for. He also took the Sheetrock piece that I had to use as my paint color match. I will like my paint back or my $50 and color match piece please. I have been texting J&D to bring my paint and he text back saying I made him drive 80 miles for nothing. I paid him upfront for my wall and said he needed to return to complete it so why am I being blamed for him driving 80 miles? He never started the other jobs so why is he not obligated to finish my work that he was paid for? I want my money or paint back and you can go your way. He is on here writing his own reviews with 5 stars, his name legal name is not Danny but Daniel Baughcum and the address he has listed are fake. One is a school and the other is abandoned.

Danny does a horrible job and over charges. I had to file a police report because I refused to pay him the final amount he ripped the drywall off the walls. He also slathered Cemet all over the siding of my house and left it looking a hot mess. I do not recommend using his services.
