The first time I came here was fine – they didn’t have what I needed, but the lady working their was helpful and kind, cool. Fast forward to my second experience – going back for what I was after. I drove 30 minutes to arrive 15 minutes prior to their advertised closing time (plenty of time to get what I need and be gone by close)… and I pull up to a closed warehouse. Neat.. I call the number to see what gives – idk if it’s the owner (because he sure as heck doesn’t have a business owner mentality) but the guy who answered the phone proceeded to tel me “you shouldn’t pull up at 3” were closed (it’s 2:45) I said – no, 3:00 is 3:00, not quarter to.. So this joker says “it’s 3:00 for me, have a good day” had to be an employee.. couldn’t have been the owner.. who knows, but they will never get a penny of my money, too many other places to buy whatever they’re selling..

Do NOT use this company! We hired this business to do our bathroom renovation in 2023. We were told that the total amount would be a little over $15k due in 3 installments and it would only take a week. That was the first lie. We paid the 1st installment which was over $3k expecting work to start in May. It did not start because we were told that the 2nd installment was required. We had never heard of giving OVER half of the amount on a construction job before it started. Nevertheless, we had visitors coming in summer and wanted to make sure things were done plus we assumed that this amount was for materials so we paid the 2nd installment and over $7k was paid to start. Then Matt was either late or just wouldn’t show up at all. We had to call him many times to see if he would be working. Some weeks he only worked one day. The job dragged on way past a week. Then he started requesting money for his household bills saying he needed $500 here and $500 there. My husband did not want to pay this additional money until the bathroom was done but I convinced him to pay it so that it would be less to pay on the back end. At this point we had paid over $8k and the bathroom still wasn’t done. Then it turns out, this amount of $15k did not include ANY of our materials and we had to put out over $1,500 for materials. We then had to go back over the estimate with a fine tooth comb because he was still going to charge us for things that he had not purchased or done such as with the vanity, toilet, and medicine cabinet. When it was time to get the glass placed on the shower, he told us he had “a guy”. This guy told us that he would do the door for $2,000 and he needed all of his money up front and that there was no one cheaper. I suspected we were being played and that they had a quid pro quo setup. I ended up calling around myself and found a local business who did it for just $1,000. At this point we were out of pocket $10k working with this guy who started in May, was not dependable, repeatedly asked for cash, tried to manipulate us for his own gain with his friend, and did not finish until AUGUST! When he finished, we gave a payment of a little over $2k which brought our paid amount to about $13k. Because we had REPEATEDLY accommodated him and his unprofessionalism and were out of pocket for more than what we assumed we would be, we asked him for a little time to pay the last $2,500 because many of the charges we did not anticipate and he did not tell us about until AFTER he started the job. But then, we began getting harassed by his wife. The very next day after he was done, she called and told us that under NO circumstances would they give us any grace at all and accused us of not paying even though we had receipts for each payment we’d made. My husband and I received a constant barrage of text messages and a month after the job was done as we were making payments, they took us to court claiming that we had not paid when AGAIN we had numerous receipts to show we HAD! They then tried to add on late fees and get us to pay court costs. None of this was in any contract. We continued to be harassed and finally went to court and agreed on the amount to be paid which was a little over $800. They took us to court WHILE they were being paid! They chose to handle business like this after ALL we had done to accommodate them in the process. Most businesses would have provided grace or a percentage off for the inconveniences and bad customer service but Stone Construction did not. AFTER the amount had been settled and paid to the court, the wife then goes on social media and went on a rant lying in a community group using our first initials and last name saying that we didn’t pay and all the while we paid the court. They did not provide professional service, misled us on cost, disparaged us online, lied, took 4 months to finish when it was only supposed to take a week, they were not dependable, they tried manipulating us with a higher price on glass to get a kickback, and they took advantage of our kindness in working with them.
