I have used edward and his crew for a plethora of projects. I have recommended him to many friends, and they’ve all been as delighted as I have been. Their work is consistently. Excellent, they clean up the job site, and that is a rare thing in this field, and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. They listen to you and can problems solve, anything!

Today Alex came to our house to repair a self closing drawer in our kitchen, plus take care of 4 interior doors that did not close correctly. Turned out that a couple of the doors had been rehung in the wrong doorways after last carpet replacement and others needed adjusting. Alex did a professional job, was friendly and a great problem solver. He also checked out our stubborn garage door opener. I greatly appreciated their quick response to my text message that I just sent last night. We will start a list for projects next time.

spent time getting a quote, begging for the price, had the date set for the work, lots of emails and then an email cancelling the job, not sure why??

I rarely leave reviews but this contractor is a very special find and excellent company to work with. He shows up with all his own employees, not a bunch of subs, and they have the same positive attitude and concerns about doing quality work. His whole approach keeps stress low and the customer first at all times. Highly recommended!

Quality craftsmanship, reliability, value! You get all three with Edward’s team. Replacing interior doors in this late 70’s townhouse is a challenge. Getting the right team is crucial, and they know their craft 100% and can adapt to the challenge of non-square walls and doorframes. We currently spend more time working at home and these perfectly fit doors make our home/work life feel new. Edward the Fix It Guyfor the win!

My wife saw on Nextdoor that some locals suggested working with Edward the Fix it Guy for handyman work. Having previously been unsatisfied with other handyman services in town, I reached out to Edward. Edward was at our house within a few days to review the scope of work. Edward is terrific. A real pro at figuring out a fixable solution to an issue. Two days later two of his long time crew arrived with supplies to begin their work. They spent 3 full days doing odds and ends for us and to say they were outstanding is really an understatement. They literally rolled out paper on the floor throughout the house so there would be no mess. They left us zero mess when they left. Alex was on site 3 days and their work was flawless and they couldn’t have been nicer. Knowing my next door neighbors had been looking for quality handyman work we then introduced this company to them. They too had them do several days of work and they too were amazed at how terrific Edward, Alex and their co-workers were. We feel comfortable knowing that we have found the perfect handymen for our home.

Edward and his talented crew just completed installing our beautiful new kitchen floor, baseboards and thresholds, door trimming and re-hanging. Because our house is old, quirky and crooked, the project entailed a lot of creative thinking, problem-solving and hard work. All that with unrelenting good cheer, kindness and patience. They are a joy to have around. We couldn’t be more thrilled with every aspect of the work they did. Disclosure: Edward The Fix It Guy is our go-to company for everything in our home from electric to plumbing, renovation and repair. We consider ourselves very lucky!

After I called an “appliance pro” to repair our dishwasher (which I thought was what I needed to do), who took our consultation fee and never got back to us to repair it, I called Edward the Fix it Guy. I should have just called him first! He arrived within a day of my contacting them, analyzed the machine thoroughly, and determined that the damage was going to cost more to fix than the machine was worth. Thank you for being honest with us!! Based on his recommendation, we are buying a new machine. And the next time we have an issue with any of our appliances, I will call Edward first!! Thank you for being the kind of business I love working with – honest, fast, reasonable and thorough.

Edward and his team came to install two new laundry room doors(interior and exterior) and replace a leaky bathroom window. From construction to painting and cleanup, the service was outstanding and very professional. I will absolutely be calling Edward again whenever I need a hand around the house.
