We had some water damage to our engineered wood floors and had to replace them. We used Uptown Wood Floors. They did an awesome job. Mike and Kristen are great to work with and helped walk us through the whole process. Their crew was professional and very efficient. We had an issue with some broken base molding due to having to remove a glued down floor. I suspected this might happen and was willing to pay extra for new base molding. However, Mike and Kristen stepped up and agreed to pay for the base. That’s going above and beyond. I would highly recommend Uptown Wood Floors.

I have now used Uptown Floors for a few separate projects and can’t imagine being more satisfied with what Kristen, Mike and their staff have done. From a new installation, to refinishing an existing floor, to rebuilding a staircase, they have done just about anything you can ask for. With all their work, the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of their service have been second to none. Would highly recommend!

Had an original floor that needed work and wanted to add two wood floors. The work on the original floor was incredible and the newly added floors were impeccable. OUTSTANDING workmanship.

Uptown Wood Floors is awesome. There are other words I could use to describe them sure, but I think awesome works best. My wife and I worked with Kristen and Mike to replace the awful tile in our N. Dallas home with beautiful, hand-scraped hardwood floors, and we couldn’t be happier. We were a little intimidated going into it — we had never replaced flooring before — and Kristen and Mike made it so easy. They armed us with the information we needed to make the best decision. They completed the work on time + on budget. They helped us pick the perfect color. They helped make our new home feel like home. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. In addition to the hardwoods, Mike also applied a beautiful antique stain to our Saltillo tiles that we absolutely love. The stain gave the tile a luxurious look & they are so easy to clean. I had wanted to rip them out when I first saw them; now they’re one of my favorite things about the house. I’ll definitely work with them again. Like I said, Uptown Wood Floors is awesome.
