When I have a contractor come into my home and do important and expensive work for me, I am sometimes disappointed, most often pleased with the work, and every once in a while blown away by the quality of the work and delighted with the choice I had made. The floors in the house we purchased were REALLY IN ROUGH SHAPE, and I wasn’t sure they could even be resurrected. Long deep gouges from a poorly relocated piano, scratches from the large dog who lived here previously, and water damage everywhere in the kitchen. All About Hardwood did a great job rejuvenating the oak flooring throughout our first level, and their team are professional and passionate about what they do, and they were clear in their communication and did such a wonderful job that I would recommend them to ANYBODY who needs their floors reborn.

All About Hardwood refinished and fixed a few boards of two rooms in our house. Throughout the whole process they were extremely professional and communicated well. The owner came to our house for the initial estimate. He gave us a ton of information about the floors generally and how to best fix them. The estimate came quick and work was scheduled to be done within a few weeks. The guys who did the work were really accommodating and came out a day early to help us determine the stain color as I couldn’t be there for them to show us. The job was done well and definitely recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with the All About Hardwood Floor Company beginning with the quote process through completion. Employees were all professional and very hard workers. They arrived on time and worked each day without stopping. We were pleased and surprised that there was almost no dust. There was also very little odor associated with the water-based sealer. Our floors look really beautiful. We chose the natural stain and used the water-based Bona sealer in a satin finish. The satin finish is definitely less “shiny” than we were used to but the end product is really quite lovely., just different. If you want a shinier finish, you might consider the semi-gloss. The company even went a bit extra for us. We called a few days after completion and All About Floors agreed to bring us a piece of matching toe strip to cover our dishwasher opening at no charge. Our dishwasher did not originally have a toe strip in front of it so it wasn’t missed by AAF. We just wanted a more finished look and they were very accommodating.

Professional. Courteous. Polite. Knowledgeable. Respectful Friendly. Awesome. Super nice people. Both Sam (Wednesday and Thursday) and Doug (today). They also keep a very clean work site. Explained what they were doing , timeline and scheduling. Called ahead of time to let me know when they would be arriving. Shout out also to the entire office staff. Actually, the entire TEAM is awesome! Perfect 10!

We are so impressed with the level of care and expertise from the entire team from ALL ABOUT HARDWOOD. Doug was helpful in making our schedule work and went over and above to accommodate us. The work provided by the team during 3 days was amazing. All the guys were professional and kind and easy to work with. They kept us appraised of the work and explained next steps. Meghan in the office was wonderful as well. We happily recommend this company. Doug explained that our floors could be refinished rather than replaced and the finished work can attest to that.
