BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE SLICK SALES PEOPLE. I PAID THEM IN FULL THEY REFUSE TO FINISH THE WORK. I CALLED THEM A FEW TIMES NO ANSWER. GRANTED THIS WAS A WHILE AGO, BUT I DID EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO GET6 THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING. I HAVE BEEN VERY PATIENT.. THEY CHARGED ME TOP DOLLAR WITH THE EXPECTATION THAT IT WOULD BE A PROFESSIONAL JOB. ALL I GOT WAS A HALF A JOB WHILE THEY HAVE MY MONEY. DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU. BE VERY CAREFUL . WHAT A SHAME. IF THEY WANT TO RESOLVE THIS THEY CAN POST A REPLY HERE ON GOOGLE AND I WILL TRY TO CALL THEM AGAIN

They did a nice job on the floors, but broke my closet door in the process and didn’t even tell me about it. Follow up: I texted the same day about the door. The reply by the business is garbage and a lie. The floors in my closet were refinished as well. The doors are sliding. I assume they didn’t know how to slide it open and forced it which caused it to snap. I paid more for a new door than to finish the floors. Be very careful with these people in your home. They’re sloppy.

I was so worried that my flooring would have to be teared out due to a flood in my kitchen. The lady was very understanding with my concerns and helped calm my nerves. Once we discussed my problem they were prompt to help the next day. When they came to see the damage, I was told not to worry they fixed it and refinished my floors with no signs of the water damage. I was so happy with their work. I’d definitely recommend them.

**beware of the price switch** received an over the phone quote for $1200 for 490 sqf. They arrived and told me I had 551 sqf and the cost is now $1700. Meaning a 12.4% increase in sqf = a 41.6% increase in price. When I made that point they mentioned all of the corners and 2 saddles… guess over the the phone they thought the room was round!

A1 was recommended to me by a friend who was really happy with their work. I called them in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate on fixing, sanding and polishing my floors. I have to say that Steve and his crew did a fabulous job. They exceeded our expectations and our hardwood floors look amazing. They are shining like new and I cant even find where the repairs were made. My wife and I are still in awe. And they were so neat and polite. I highly recommend A1

My floors in my hundred year old Brooklyn brownstone looks amazing. Steve and his team did a great job, arriving when promised leaving my home spotless even helping move my furniture. I will not hesitate recommending them in the future.

I recently had my engineered wood floor refinished and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I called quite a few “wood floor experts” who said my floor needed to be replaced and could not be refinished. When I called A1, Steve said that it can be done, no problem. He quoted me a fair price and delivered on what he said. No surprises or hidden costs. Just experience, skill and professionalism from begining to end.
