This is an updated review, I am a repeat customer for Shumba floors, they placed my original hardwood floors and were exceptional. This time I hired them to remove all the old tile from the first floor, replace the floor and remove the old stair bannisters. They were able to color match the bannisters and new flooring perfectly. Would highly recommend for any projects! Shumba floors was exceptional. Monica, was very responsive to all my requests and kept me updated. We refinished our old wood floors and installed new wood floors where carpet had previously been. The floors are absolutely seamless and appear as if they were all installed brand new at one time. I had my floors redone while living out of town and the work was completed as if I was present every day. She was professional and on time. We plan to have her redo our stairs and railings in the future. Would highly recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with our result from Shumba Floors! The Maple floors in our kitchen were badly deteriorated from traffic and water, but after Shumba’s refinishing they look as good as new. As a first-time homeowner I really appreciated how communicative Monica was, educating us along the way about potential challenges and decisions to make. The work was completed quickly and they did a great job cleaning up after. We’ll definitely be using Shumba again.

We just had our hard wood floors refinished by Shumba Floors at our home in Eldersburg. Wow, the floors are gorgeous! Shumba Floors exceeded our expectations in every way. Monica runs an excellent business, and she is very friendly and easy to contact. Rafael was very professional and did a super job on the floors. I highly recommend this company. We will definitely use this company for our floors again in the future.

Monica, Rafael, and the team did an amazing job on our old wood floors. We live in a 120 year old row home in Baltimore and our floors were in pretty rough shape. The floors had a lot of broken/loose boards, some areas were covered in carpeting and also painted, and the boards ranged in width from 3 to 5 inches. So this was not an easy project. But gratefully, Monica and the team took it on and we are so happy with how the floors turned out. Other companies tried to convince us to replace the flooring, and that may be a good option for some people, but we really enjoy the historic character of the century-old flooring and wanted to keep it. I don’t think you’ll find another company in the Baltimore area that does as good of work to restore old floors. Not only did they do a great job, but Monica is extremely responsive. We had a million questions and she answered each and every one. We also asked them to come back to fix a couple of spots and they did so right away. Monica genuinely wants customers to be happy, and it shows. We are very happy customers and will always recommend people go with Shumba floors!

Monica and her team did an excellent job restoring the 100 year old floors in home. They even matched missing floorboards in a closet perfectly with the originals! Impressive. Glad i trusted her and her team. I recommend them highly.

Monica and her crew refinished our entire first floor consisting of living room, dining room, primary bedroom, powder room, and kitchen. Initially we thought her estimate to be high, but after reading reviews on line, we decided to take the chance. We chose wisely! The special equipment she has purchased to suck out the dust from sanding, the care taken to hang plastic shields throughout our home mitigating further dust, resulted in a remarkably clean home when we returned. The floors were flawless. Monica cares about her business and it shows. We recommend this company whole heartedly.
