They laid the floors well, were professional and on time. But they weren’t responsive to a service request. I requested a small repair and contacted them three times. I didn’t even get the courtesy of a reply.

I originally planned to lay the Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring myself on top of the existing ceramic tile in one of my bedrooms, but once I had removed the furniture soon became aware of how badly the floor was from being level with troughs and peaks and slopes all over the place. I decided this was not a job I wanted to take on as the entire floor really needed leveling for the flooring to sit flat and was recommended by my flooring wholesaler to get in touch with Knock On Wood flooring installers to see if they could help me and I’m so pleased that I did! The job was only a little over 200 sq. ft. so I thought I might have trouble finding someone to come out to me but I spoke to Sharon at Knock On Wood and within 24 hrs. she had come out to see the job personally, priced and prepared a quote and had emailed the quote over to me. She was really helpful and I found the pricing, which was based on a price per sq. ft. to install the flooring and a price per bag of leveler for each bag required for the leveling, both of which I found to be very reasonable. It was decided that the existing tile really needed to be removed before leveling and Sharon was able to provide me with the details of a dustless tile removal business to take care of that for me. Once the tile had been removed Danny, Sharons husband, who would actually be doing the leveling and installation, swung by to take a look at the job ahead of time and ensure there no unforeseen issues, which was great , and he recommended using a bonding primer for the existing floor as its surface was in such bad condition, which he applied thoroughly. I was dreading the day of the actual leveling as I was concerned that there would be cement dust and water everywhere, but was absolutely amazed to find where they had been mixing up the leveler and transporting it through the house was absolutely spotless, no cement dust, no old leveler, no spilled water or any other trash anywhere. Danny did a terrific job of leveling the entire floor, which looked awesome. He then returned a few days later once the floor had dried to install the Luxury Vinyl Flooring, which he did with the same care and attention to detail that I had seen him use throughout the whole process. I find it so hard these days to actually find contractors who are conscientious and take a pride in their work but I certainly found one when I hired Knock on Wood Flooring and am absolutely overwhelmed by what a fantastic job they did for me. Both Sharon and Danny are really nice people, I will certainly be using them again for other flooring projects and would thoroughly recommend them without any hesitation.

If you want your floors installed perfectly call Knock on Wood flooring. Sharon waisted no time returning my call for an estimate. Scheduled the installation as soon as the flooring became available. Dan went out of his way to assist me with a mistake I made when choosing the flooring. All the installers were polite and hard working. They take pride in their work not taking any short cuts. It is sometimes hard to find conscientious diligent companies. Love my floors, thank you Sharon and Dan.

Measured house, helped to guide on purchase of product wound up using luxury vinyl. Family business did everything they promised and more. Very concerned about their work and took great pride in it!! I can’t say enough good things about Knock on Wood. They came to our rescue after we were let down by another flooring installation company and were able to squeeze us in rather quickly due to a cancellation/rescheduling. We used luxury vinyl plank and were able to float it over our tile floors. They had to level certain areas and remove a few rooms with old engineered wood or carpet but they demo’d/prepped in record time! They came with a huge crew and machinery and got our entire ~3000 sq ft home done + new baseboards within a few days. We were so impressed with their work ethic, attention to detail and swiftness. They were extremely responsive throughout the process by sending pictures and patient when we changed baseboard options, etc. They were also very accommodating with clearing out anything they demo’d and picking up supplies for us, which we realized not all flooring companies operated that way. You won’t be disappointed if you go with them. We highly recommend to anyone that asks!

I could not be more impressed and satisfied with this company. I called them to install luxury vinyl flooring in five rooms in my house after our previous installer wasn’t finding the time to prioritize our project. This company got us in that same week and installed all five rooms, including removing the carpet, installing the luxury vinyl flooring, removing the baseboards, reinstalling the baseboards in less than two days. There were also a couple of issues with the previous installation that they were able to fix, including building me a custom door threshold that fit the space better the pricing was fair, the installers were extremely knowledgeable, and they were very respectful. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or family member!
