Hardwood Floorwerx was recommended to us by our contractor to refinish our existing floors and put new wood floors into the kitchen. They laced the existing floor into the new floor and it looks amazing. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and helped us select a beautiful natural finish for our red oak floors. The entire team was wonderful and we couldn’t be happier with how the floors turned out. They were professional, on budget and on time. Highly recommend!

After significant searching and reading reviews we hired Floorwerx to refinish our hardwood oak floors. They did the job over Thanksgiving week 2023. It worked out great as we were home for the first couple days where they sanded and put down some sample stain colors. They were super helpful in picking the stain color as we wanted to go dark but needed help with tones. Then we left to visit family while they did all the stain and finish application. We couldn’t be more happy with both the entire crew we worked with but also the results. The floor looks great and the finish seems very durable and is easy to keep clean. Thank you Floorwerx!!! A wonderful craftsman job of installing wood flooring in place of tile. The blending between the small tile area and the existing surrounding wood floors was excellent. A fair price as well! Very pleased.

Outstanding service and beautiful, quality red oak floor refinishing. Professional. They sanded and refinished right up to the edges, inside corners, troublesome stairs, didn’t miss a thing. Always on time, stayed late so they could finish the project on time, cleaned up every day, very little dust!! The whole crew worked hard to accommodate our schedule. Highly recommend!

We are very pleased with Hardwood Floorwerx and highly recommend them. We enjoyed working with Craig and Aaron. Craig worked with us to accommodate our schedule. We have reclaimed wood flooring that was exposed to the salt lakes that needed to be sanded and refinished. Aaron took care to find the appropriate sealer that would work with the minerals in the wood. Thankful, we found them.

We used Floorwerx to install new oak flooring on 2 staircases and in 4 rooms. They also refinished several rooms of 100+ year old fir flooring. The job was done on time and on budget and our floors look great. I really enjoyed working with Craig (owner), Matt (crew leader), and the whole team. Highly recommend.

We received at least 6 quotes to refinish our hardwood floor. They were the most expensive by far of all the quotes, but we chose them based on recommendations from a local contractor experience group. We thought the high price would mean great workmanship, but although we paid top dollar, we’re left with a lot of flaws even after we gave them the chance to remedy. Examples of issues: no tarps used and they dripped finish on our carpet that can’t be removed, dark stain still visible in many areas after going lighter, a stair landing installed that is completely not level, gaps and knicks left unfilled, pooled finish that left stains that can’t be removed. Craig, Aaron and team just raised our Boulder property value by $1 million. The best compliment came from our tile installer who, unprompted, commented that this was the best hardwood install job he had ever seen. And our 100 year old floors started out a wreck. They had to remove and rebuild subfloors to remove sagging, practically rebuild the staircase, and level every room including hallways before installing the new white oak hardwood. Strong work ethic is part of the Floorwerx secret sauce. They arrive early and leave late every day. The craftsmanship is unmatched and the attention to detail a cut above. For example, taking time to lay out each piece of wood to ensure the best design, the tightness between each board makes the floor feel super solid, and the floor scribe to the fireplace stonework is exceptional. Their people are all really top notch. And they don’t skimp on the finish. They use top of the line Bona finishes to bring out the beauty of the wood. Floorwerx was recommenced by a contractor friend and we are really happy we chose them for our house.
