I’ve been to most of the tile shops around the East Bay and these folks are the best. Beautiful selection, generous with their sample lending, relatively inexpensive, and thoughtful suggestions. All Natural Stone is ok, but on the expensive side compared to other shops. Cal tile is good, but gives no contractor discounts and has NO samples to audition at the job site. Italics has a pretty blah selection and is expensive. Most other places have generic selection. Stick with Art!

Doing a home renovation with out a designer is filled w a milllion little decisions. Andrea was so helpful in providing recommendations for countertops and tile. So wonderful to have this small business in Oakland!

This is my second time working with Art Tile — they’re wonderful. Such a great showroom, with a selection that’s big yet not overwhelming, in settings that let you imagine how it’ll be in your home. The folks there are knowledgeable and good to work with. Marta is my go-to person, she is so helpful.
