My husband and I hired this company specifically to fix a leak in our chimney. When I first spoke to Michael, he stated that their fee was going to be $60/hr per guy. The following day it changed to $75/hr because it was about an hour and 20 min drive time for them. In the same breath, he added that he was not charging for travel time. They took our siding off, replaced the plywood underneath that was rotted and placed a waterproofing over the plywood. They took the shingles off a couple of feet from the chimney and replaced the flash (that I had told them had been replaced twice already) They also applied some waterproofing to the roof and then replaced the shingles. Michael first said that we would not have to replace the cap on the top of the chimney unless it looked like this was where the water was coming from, or it leaked after they had finished their repairs. Then a day later, he stated that if we did not replace that piece that he would not be able to guarantee his work and that our chimney would not leak. So, he has a guy come out and replace the cap. I asked for an itemized bill once I received our invoice because per Michael, he would reimburse for the materials that he did not use on our project as he would use them for future projects. After I asked for the itemized invoice, the bill was adjusted by a little over $300, in our favor. I then asked for the “warranty” in writing. When Michael first mentioned his warranty, it was a 5-year warranty. When I asked him about the warranty in writing he stated he would warranty it for 3 years until I reminded him, he had said it was a 5-year warranty. After he sent the correct invoice and we were sent the “warranty”, he was paid the rest of his bill. About a week after he was done, it rained. YES the chimney still leaks and worse than before. I called him right away. Clearly, I was less than happy after I just paid $5,000 for my leaky chimney to be fixed and here we are chimney STILL LEAKING. Instead of him saying I’ll come out and look at it, he repeated over and over, “what we did was done right”. I appreciate the fact that they replaced and reinforced the structure around the chimney, however, I do believe the assignment was missed. The whole point of the assignment was to FIX THE LEAK. Fixing all the rest of it does not really matter as we will end up with the same problem again without the leak being fixed. Michael stated that he had a chimney guy that he was waiting to hear back from and when he did he would get ahold of us ……… That was September 12, 2023 and not one word!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

He seemed very annoyed to be bothered. When he was at my house for a quote he was more interested in discussing replacing my whole stairwell system than the project itself. (Every other contractor said there is nothing wrong with my stairwell). Then he immediately went to “how much do you want to spend because if you think this is a $10,000 job and I think it’s a $20,000 job then don’t waste my time”. I told him I didn’t know, that is the whole point of getting quotes. Then he proceeded to tell me how he is going to sub contract out every aspect of the job. I told him I wasn’t a fan of subcontracting practices. So then he backtracked and said “well I don’t subcontract everything, just something’s”. Then he in detail listed the things he was going to subcontract, spoiler alert, it was everything. He hyped up and was really trying to sell me on vinyl sheet flooring. Every other contractor I talked to said no real contractor would ever push for vinyl sheet flooring. All this time communicating with him I was here by myself dealing with his rude uninterested condescending behavior. The second my husband got home he all of a sudden changed tunes became more friendly and more willing to communicate. My husband and I left him to do his measuring. Literally not even 30 seconds later he left saying “Its just a box to me”. He didn’t do any measuring. I never heard back from him, which is fine because I already knew I would not be hiring him just within 5 minutes of talking to him.

Mike and his crew did an outstanding job on enclosing my front porch! Completely exceeded my expectations. They were professional and hard working. Great attention to detail! I’m very happy with the end result. I will recommend them and I will be using them again!!!

Michael’s attention to detail on every project is the reason he is our go-to contractor. He listens and understands our objectives before proceeding. Then he treats each aspect of a project as if it was in his own home. He has our highest recommendation!!!

Mike did a great job adding siding and gutters to our old garage. Was supposed to be two days, but stayed late to finish in one day. Everything was cleaned up, and well done. His pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely call him again.

Our dishwasher install went smooth and quick with Mike and his crew. We also modified two drawers to fit the new space. Mike creatively problem-solved the spacing, and completed with great craftsmanship. We are very pleased with the finished project and would surely recommend!
