I highly recommend Massey Remodel and Design for anyone looking to remodel their home. The Design Build Process from Pre-construction to Project Completion was exceptional. We are very pleased with the design of our new fireplace mantel, cabinets, and shelving in our living room space, as well as the new kitchen. The end result was exactly what we wanted. The team of individuals working on the remodel were punctual, respectful of our home, and provided quality workmanship. The communication was clear and responsive throughout the entire project. I just wanted to give a shout out to James and his team. We reached out to James for a consultation and possible remodel of our home. He scheduled a call and he called at the exact time he said he would. He asked lots of pertinent questions about scope, our wishes and timing. He suggested that it maybe something I could do on my own after asking questions about my wife and my backgrounds. He gave me suggestions and encouragement that it was the best move for us. He was genuinely concerned to do the right thing for us after our conversation. Said to reach out if he could help in any way. Highlights for me were working with Genessa on design then getting a model of what the end product would look like and going over the project with James regularly as he made sure everything was installed to our liking. We chose Massey Remodel and Design originally because of the project displays on their website. We stuck with them because of their genuine and professional approach. They walked and talked us through the design and remodel process of our kitchen so we could make fully informed decisions. The app they use is an excellent way to check for updates and photos in addition to consistent text communication. James, Genessa, and the crews they work with were an absolute pleasure. James and his crew were referred to us by our designer and tasked with remodeling our powder room to build in a shower that was not present before and provide a much needed refresh. From the beginning the estimate was provided up front and fair, a plan and timeline was set up and then executed flawlessly. My wife and I recommend Massey Remodel + Design to anybody looking for a home refresh who appreciates a contractor who has a plan, is on time and delivers as expected while doing great work.

James and Genessa are a wonderful team! We did a full demo kitchen remodel along with a few other projects in our main living space and everything turned out beautifully. The planning and design process was extremely organized and efficient and Genessa is a wizard at drafting up visuals so you can see the design every step of the way which was extremely helpful. Genessa is a wonderful designer and I really appreciated her delicate balance of being there to offer suggestions and expertise when needed while also letting me take the lead on ideas that I had for the space. As construction began James was great at quick communication and transparent about any issues that came up. We had some delays, as most projects do, but James really rallied his team to get us back into our space by the holidays and we really appreciated the extra effort to make that happen! The quality and professionalism through every step of the remodel process was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Massey Remodel and Design to anyone needing home remodel services!

We had water damage inside our master shower tiled walls. We had to have the walls, wood framing, floor and underlayment completely removed and replaced. We entertained two (2) bathroom companies specializing in repairs and upgrades and two (2) general contractors with 5-star ratings. We talked about the needed repairs inside the wall and explained the project in concise detail to all four companies. The bathroom companies wanted to provide bids on their specialty bathroom products. Basically, bathroom kits they per-fabricate in their shop and install. Their bids were not concise and ambiguous. One general contractor never sent a proposal, and one general contractor (Massey) provided a detailed scope of work and their bid. It was obvious to us, Massey Home Services listened, took careful notes, and provided us with a bid for exactly what we wanted. The three bids were within a few thousand dollars of each other. Although Massey’s bid was the highest, their detail to scope made us feel they would deliver what we wanted. We made a very good decision. The details in their quote showed in their details in quality of work and the finished product. All of Massey’s subcontractors did a very good job, professional, and polite. Their work is excellent. In summary, if you want to work with professional people and want an excellent job, I strongly recommend Massey. You will not be disappointed. James and Genessa Massey were a pleasure to work with and are very nice people. Michael and Hana appreciate your work and thank you!

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by James and Genessa and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. The entire process from design to construction was seamless and couldnt have been easier. Both James and Genessa were great about communication letting us know exactly what was going on throughout the process, having no surprises was a surprise in itself! Genessa was amazing to work with on the design. She listened to our wants/needs making sure we got we what wanted, but also made sure everything was cohesive for a complete, beautiful kitchen. During the construction James was onsite multiple times ensuring the work done was with high quality and there were no mistakes. I cannot recommend working with Massey enough if you are considering having any work done to your home.

After working with a contractor previously for my master bathroom that was a complete nightmare, it was a huge relief finding this company. Their communication was flawless! We had such a pleasant experience with the design team and my bathroom is more beautiful than what I could’ve expected.
