Asian sounding woman from this company YELLED at me because my insurance company assigned my repair to them. She told me it was my responsibility to contact my insurance co. and get another repairer. When my insurance co. For a second time (!) AGAIN assigned me to this this co. They cancelled WITHOUT telling me. This person should not be in the position of dealing with clients. My insurance co. told me that is NOT how the assigning process works and that KOAM is WRONG. DO not Deal With This Company.

Communication and logistics was exceptionally difficult. I was sent the wrong proposal one time and it was painstaking to get a time scheduled. Was told their availability within the week (to which I responded), for them to not confirm, which put us into the next week. This happened for over two weeks up until the point I barely made the date I needed it by. I was often asked to make last minute adjustments to our agreed installation date. Twice in one week, something either came up last minute, or they mis-scheduled something. It was only because I had a last minute open availability that we were able to get it done. Otherwise, we would have missed a deadline I needed the work done by. I had to work so hard around their schedule rather than Ko-Am regarding mine. In the final service, the crew was not told part of the work that was agreed on. Ko-Am and I spoke about nailing subfloors down to reduce squeaking, and that was completely missed. The crew was confused when I mentioned it. I was given a poor explanation as to why that happened when I addressed it. The company gets one extra star for being less expensive than other options, but I suppose that came at the consequence of service.

Mike and the Ko-am Enterprises team are great! I’ve had this group do hardwood flooring jobs at two different homes over the last few years, including carpet and runner installation. The team is easy to work with, very reasonable pricing and great quality output. Thanks Mike!

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and his crew. Mike is responsive and professional, and is a man of his word. The team came and took care of our entire second floor in a day – efficient and great workmanship. There are a lot of options, but I like giving a small business an opportunity to shine. Great value, hard workers and someone I trust will take care of things if need be.

They sanded and restained my wood floors arrived early completed early. Had to call them back for a correction to my floor and they were back within a day and fixed issue and my floors are beautiful. I love the floors and would definitely use them again.

Regular hardwood installation looks good. Manufactured hardwood in basement has strange residue the Ko-Am could not remove, and some remaining evidence of scratches during installation. They told me to live with it for a while to determine if my own cleaning resolved the issues over time, reminding me both the flooring and installation are warranted for life. Am I really going to get this resolved after living with it for a year. Want new flooring to look new. Some damage during installation in both sets of flooring not fully resolved. I assume it was a good price, but think they tried to do too much in one day, needing me to take an extra day away from work for partial resolution of issues.
