SGS Contractors 5 years agoI received their name from a friend that had them do some work. Now the job I needed was not a big one by any means but if they would’ve done a good job it would’ve led to a much bigger job (bathroom remodel). I called about 5 weeks ago to get a quote. The owner came out and gave me a quote and was pleasant to talk to. Stated he was backed up but would contact me in a couple weeks to get the job done. I waited 5 weeks and received no reply. I contacted them back and the receptionist, whom I’m told is the owners wife, answers. She’s confrontational and hostile with me. Refused to set up a time and date to have them come out. Just took my name and number and stated they will call me when they can get out there. When I told her I need to have more advanced notice she then told me to find someone else to do the job and hung up. When you are going to have this kind of customer service I don’t want anything to do with your business. Also as someone who has worked in a family business for most of his life accountability is important. Just because you are married to or related to the owner does not give you a right to treat people like that.
