Hello and thank you, so very much for Maxwell Construction! 🙂 After having two pipes burst, I found Joe Guadagnino! Needless to say, Joe was out to my house pronto!!! Fast forward to all the demolition, clean up, plumbing, installation of the new pipes, flooring… I can say I am truly satisfied with this company. Each and every employee, kind, courteous and friendly. I asked questions and they answered all of them! Thank you, again, Joe and I am feeling truly blessed. 🙂

The team at Maxwell did a fantastic job with our bathroom renovation! We had a leak in our shower which resulted in some pretty serious damage. Joe and his team helped us through the process with the insurance company, which would have been very overwhelming without their support. They were very accommodating and helpful while making choices for the design of the new bathroom and brought our vision to life. The crew was extremely professional, punctual, friendly, and tidy. From project management down to the laborers, we always felt like we could communicate our concerns or preferences, and that they would be addressed and accommodated. Our bathroom was a disaster, and now it is a respite, worthy of a luxury resort. I can’t get over how good it looks. Thank you so much Maxwell, for being amazing!

I had a great experience with Maxwell Buliding services when I needed my roof replaced. Joe worked with my insurance company hand in hand and answered all my questions quickly. The work was completed in a timely manner and at a high standard. I would recommend Maxwell to any of my friends or family.

When they first replaced our roof we thought highly of them, but come to find out they did not seal the vents properly and the roof leaked ruining the ceiling and a bed that was in a back bedroom. My husband called many times to try and get them to fix their mistake and they only gave us excuses like there was no warranty or they would call us back (which they didn’t). Edit to add: Our invoice says you did indeed do our roof – see photo

Beware. I hired because of a referral and good online reviews. I’ve successfully used contractors before on much bigger projects. This experience has been very expensive, absolutely excruciating and incredibly time-consuming. What was to take under a month stretched to most of this year. Unqualified labor (eventually admitted as such), often without the right equipment, was used for the bulk of the project. Through many re-work visits Maxwell doubled down, refusing my pleading to accept the loss and bring in a pro. After months they gave in. The work site was often a mess (a major tell), and I gave up on them doing final clean up. Much of the paint work will never fully adhere, but I can’t take them being back for what would be a tenth trip. Drywall obviously done incorrectly was illogical patching multiple times until finally starting over. Flooring installed with obvious gaps, doors hung wrong. Nearly every part of the project took re-work, and often re-re-re-work, with nonsensical management of logistics requiring even more visits. These were not normal “punch list” fixes, but ongoing failure over months. Transparency on what work was done for a significant cost area was never provided after months of argument. I gave up and paid just wanting to be done, so they won. Some of the guys are great. I know getting good labor is tough now. But if things are going wrong, a professional knows to quickly stop and re-set, and work with urgency. The added value that is why you use a contractor was largely absent. Their margin was paramount (though this dragged so long, they can’t have banked much). Customer satisfaction and life disruption… and apparently their reputation… unconcerning.

Maxwell prepared for all aspects of a complete bathroom remodel project following an insurance claim due to leaking water pipes. Maxwell Building is a well run company, they are organized and responsive and make each step of the project clear to the customer. Although we experienced a scheduling conflict in the project, Joe and the others at Maxwell resolved it professionally. Thank you.

I have no idea as to the quality of their work, my 1 star review is due to one of their employees instigating an extremely dangerous road rage situation in Roseville. I called the company to report it, and told them I have dashcam video showing what happened, and so far there has been no response.
