Scott completed 2 substantial siding repair jobs caused by water damage resulting from preciously done inferior work. Rebuilt the entire infrastructure on the side of the house, replacing windows and insulation and installing new siding to perfection. Would recommend and use again

I contacted Scott about a project that involved the outdoor installation of a mid century fireplace I restored. Scott was excellent. Very fair and upfront pricing and constant communication about the acquisition of the necessary parts (he’s a master of sourcing), the fabrication of necessary components, and the installation schedule. He’s meticulous about the work and keeping his workspace clear. He is easy to talk to (not condescending, open to ideas, creative) and really wants the homeowner to be happy…it’s clearly what makes him happy. I’m beyond happy. This is your guy…look no further.

We found Scott and his company through a referral from another trade; called him after the recent hurricane caused water intrusion through two different windows in our home. He responded immediately to come assess our problem and though he was not immediately available scheduled us for about a week down the road. He was straightforward, honest and very precise about what might be causing our issues. He offered thoughts on the best approach and certainly inspired confidence. He showed up as promised, ready to start. He was methodical, precise and focused on doing what we had agreed was the best approach. While other issues could appear in our building, I am confident the issues that Scott addressed will not. He stands ready to return if something develops in the repairs or to help with other issues that may arise. I cannot recommend Scott highly enough. Top shelf work.

Had Scott replace the siding on my home. I had gotten a few quotes from various companies and while Scott was not the cheapest, I am so glad I went with Schrader Contracting. Scott took so much time assessing my home (which is almost 100 years old) and making sure everything was done right-he goes above and beyond what is required of him. You can tell in his craftsmanship and the quality of his work. He is very skilled, kind, and thorough every step of the way. My home looks amazing and it is all thanks to Schrader contracting! I would use him for future projects in a heartbeat.

Scott is an upstanding, trustworthy, thorough and personable general contractor. I found him from the BBB and contacted him regarding repairs to a porch on a house I have under contract and told him I was under a time crunch. I was impressed that he drove out to AMI to see the house the day after I contacted him. He followed up immediately after seeing the house and very honestly told me that he will not make the repairs. There was too much work to be done on an original deck, and so much was no longer to code that he did not want to get into a project where one repair would lead to another and cause him to have to go back to me frequently to add unforeseen work to the project. Another contractor refused the job as well. While he has not done any work for me, I can still see why his reviews are impeccable.

I had an emergency with one entire exterior wall of my house. Scott came to look at it the very same day, assured me it could be repaired and started work the very next day. We encountered quite a few “interesting” construction issues due to the age of the house (It was a vintage nightmare). None of these issues stopped Scott and he found a solution for all of them. They included a drainage system, a pair of french doors, two exterior doors and some landscaping changes to accommodate the drainage system. Scott’s attention to detail with everything and his experience and knowledge shows in his work. Now I have a vintage house that I am thrilled with. Scott is a true professional, his quality of work is excellent and I would highly recommend him.
