Wow! Reggie and his whole team are so professional. I appreciate the fact that they are a design build contractor because it takes the fear out of my remodel. So many people I know have horror stories about their residential remodels because the designers argue with the contractors. That will not happen with New Key because they are all on the same team. I also like that they are a local Walnut Creek general contractor and I support my local businesses.

From The first introduction in meeting the team at New Key Contruction I knew I was in good hands. I came across them in my Instagram feed and saw some of the amazing remodeling and building projects. I was impressed to say the least. They use an app to track job progress that gets daily progress pictures uploaded to that I was able to check when ever I wanted. Not only did they design a project that fit my budget they came up with really creative ways to work with my ideas without sacricing quality or functionality. I’m not one of their Flagship projects, but I felt like they treated me like it was. I am so happy I chose New Key Construction for my home!

Reggie and New Key Construction did a great job helping us with repair on an insurance claim for our home in Walnut Creek. Our floor was damaged by water that leaked from the roof. The insurance company only paid us a few thousand dollars for a repair. Reggie contacted them directly and demonstrated why the repair could not be done and replacement was needed instead. He met with the adjuster at our house which resulted in an additional payment that covered the cost of replacement. Thank you!

We hired New Key Construction to renovate the interior of our most historic (1850 construction) Masonic Building in California. Their entire staff, from Reggie (the owner) to Connor (foreman) to Elle (project manager) are professional and great to work with. Elle’s attention to details during every step of the project yielded a beautiful outcome, and rendered the project a huge success. The building will be featured in one of our upcoming quarterly magazines, and we are delighted to showcase it, post renovations.

We worked with New Key Construction to remodel our backyard workshop and transform it into a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom ADU for my parents to retire and live in. New Key did an absolute outstanding job and we are so happy we chose them for one of the largest investments we’ve ever made. – Quality Work – Reggie and his team do quality work; they do not cut corners, and they will always lean to do things the right way that is safe, compliant, and functional. You can feel the quality when you walk around; there is a meticulousness to the work that is hard to find anywhere else. – Project Planning – We were assigned a project manager and a foreman who kept us updated very frequently on the state of construction. The work was completed on-time if you account for the realities of construction which were largely due to supply delays and/or the occasional coordinate of some competing work. To convert a workshop (where we literally stripped it down) to a livable, high-quality ADU in 5 months is impressive! Also, they showed up on-time every day and if they were going to be late (or not come), we would be told. – Culture – Everyone that works at New Key Construction was a pleasure to work with; they hire people who care about the work they are doing and make an effort to get to know you. We could tell the employees enjoyed working at New Key, and it shows in the work. We looked at several companies before choosing New Key. I wholeheartedly will say it was worth it – you get quality work, quality communication, a 10-year warranty, and people who legitimately care about you and your home. You won’t regret it!

New Key Construction add a new bedroom and a full bathroom to our home. This was a dream of ours. Now our home has 2 bathrooms. New Key Construction’s team was great to work with. Since the beginning of the planning to the end. I am glad that I upgraded to get a tile bathroom. I appreciated the suggestions they provided. It has been over a month since we move to our new room and we love it.
