Kind of deceptive advertising. They had a sign out front that said up to 30% off. So when we got our verbal quote while in the store, I asked if the sign out front had any benefits to us…and the employee looked at us like we just asked for the winning lottery numbers, as if to say, there wasn’t an application of that to anything sold there.

Stu’s flooring is awesome. The sales rep Don is a super great guy. He’s all about helping you get what you need as opposed to the highest dollar material. The installers were quick and everything looks awesome. Thanks Don!

We have been thinking about doing wood blinds in our home for a long time. We looked into it through Costco a few years ago, but it was too pricey. We decided now, we were comfortable with spending more for the wood, so I contacted Costco again to request a contractor contact us. Stu’s is the contractor that our area uses. After a few days of putting in the request, I called again because nobody reached out. It turns out,the representative had been the one to come out a few years ago. She was very short with me, to the point of making me feel like I was bothering her. She quoted via her old measurements & told me to order samples from the manufacturer. In doing that, another representative contacted me. He said he usually beats the Costco price. He came out on 10/24, had samples along, quoted me & the shades were all installed yesterday 11/2. And best of all, Exterior Motives beat her price by $498 on what we purchased, & $1,380 for a quote she gave us based on her previous trip out. I had her adjust for what we were actually getting to have a true comparable. I will be complaining to Costco about this business, their lack of customer service, & overpricing. We have used Stu’s Greenfield location twice for flooring and carpeting in the past and were very satisfied with both the salesperson and the installation teams. This time, due to our move to Waukesha county, we were directed to work with the Waukesha store. However, our experience with the Waukesha location has been disappointing. We had an home visit for measuring and an estimate was eventually emailed to us after we went to the store to view more flooring samples. However, a month has passed and there has been no response to an email I’d sent requesting clarification of some questions I had about the estimate. Also, the flooring samples Stu’s had indicated would be mailed to our home have not arrived, and the salesperson never got back to me when I left a message with the office person to have him call me. We’d really wanted to use Stu’s again, but looks like it’s time to move on.

I am selling a home for an estate. We had two rooms and stairs to recarpet and five rooms to remove old carpet to expose a hardwood floor. They did a great job on everything. Easy to work with and did a great job. And the pricing was great.

I don’t review businesses as a matter of course because usually very little impresses me. Stu’s Flooring in Waukesha is an exception to my typical views on businesses. First off the pricing on our flooring was excellent. Beat my other quotes. I don’t select on price alone, I select on what am I getting for the money. Stu’s won. Wind storm knocked out our power on day one of the job. The installers still came an did as much as possible without electricity. Day two they realized our old flooring was too unstable to lay down the new floor without a tear out. Day two tear out and reprepare the subfloor. Day three of what should have been a two day job the installers laid the new flooring and did it to perfection. Every seam every line is straight and true. Total professionals. And they were both nice guys on top of it. My daughter is having new flooring and carpeting put in her house next month, one guess who’s doing the job. Stu’s is a business that every small business should strive to emulate. Great products, superb customer service, a great team of professional installers and unbelievable attention to detail. If you need flooring or carpeting, you definitely need to call Stu’s Flooring.

Sheryl and my wife just clicked, when we first came into the showroom and Sheryl came up with the perfect flooring for our home. Our house was measured within a few days and an estimate came in another couple of days. The flooring was installed about a week after our down payment. They estimated 2 days and that is what it took …DONE! We are very happy with the very professional and thorough job. The final price exactly matched the estimate …no extra gotcha’s. I would recommend Stu’s to anyone.

We would highly recommend Stu’s Flooring. We had a very good experience from picking out our Luxury Vinyl flooring to its installation in our home. The tile layout and grout work was very professionally done.

Derek and the rest of the crew were outstanding. They explained what they were going to do, gave us a timeline and followed through on it. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely use Stu’s again
