After receiving 6 different bids from a variety of well-known local flooring contractors, we went with Quality Hardwood Flooring. We could not be happier that we did! On the day of install, they. arrived right on time, and their crew was professional, hardworking, and cleaned up after themselves each day. Not only was their bid several and in one instance, $8,000 below the others, whose products were laminate or engineered wood planks, they installed beautiful real oak flooring. The end result is a gorgeous hardwood flooring that will not only raise the value of our home, but last for years and years. We could not be happier with our new floors!

Paul and his crew at Quality wood floors did an amazing job refinishing our wood floors. Within a few days after I called to get information, they sent someone out to write an estimate. They told me specifically what they would do and the price was reasonable. They scheduled the work within a couple weeks because we were trying to get the house on the market to sell it. The previous renters had spilled paint and also left deep scratches in a number of places, but when Paul and his crew were done, the whole floor looked brand new, which was one of the reasons the house sold in two days for full price. They also did the work on schedule and charged us only for the cost of the estimate. Thanks to Quality Wood Floors of Spokane for your good work which made a big difference to us in helping us sell our house.

We had quality hardwood floors resand and finish our hardwood floors in July. Paul and his team were initially responsive and the floors look great but we had a mixed experience mainly because of what happened with the dust. We were expecting dust on the main floor where the floors were and my wife and I did a lot of work taping off other rooms with plastic sheeting and moving things. Unfortunately somehow most of the dust ended up in our HVAC and instead of being dusty on the main floor all of the dust ended up going through the HVAC unit into shut storage/bedrooms in the basement and caused a HUGE mess. Everything, and I mean everything (read walls, camera gear, files (in the file cabinet), and everything we had moved to “safe” places, had a coating of dust on it. We also ended up needing to clean our ducts which was another $800 because the system kept spreading the dust. A friend who is an HVAC specialist said that we were lucky because they really should have closed off all the HVAC vents and the dust could have damaged our HVAC unitl (hopefully that won’t be the next surprise). I called Paul to tell him what happened and see about splitting the duct cleaning bill which he was unwilling to do. He treated it as “yeah dust happens” sort of thing which was not this. The areas around the floors actually weren’t that bad and all the damage was in rooms on another floor with closed doors. He did send a $100 refund as a “courtesy”. We also bought metal sliders for under all our chairs and tables and my wife was told “they are the same price here as at Home Depot”. We bought packs of 4 for $5 each. I looked on Amazon and we could buy 40 for $18. I understand he’s probably working with thin margins, but it ended up being a huge mess and there wasn’t a lot of ownership in this especially with the motto of “A Job Worth Doing is Worth Doing Well”.

Quality Hardwood Floors truly stands by their name, the craftsmanship of my new floor is amazing. We wanted to match the existing hardwood in the house and they did just that. The part that I cant get over is the fact that our new white oak hardwoods came in $2800 cheaper than installing an LVP floor. You guys did a fantastic job and I’m so happy we chose you to do the floors.

We could not be happier with the work Quality Hardwood Floors did for us and our 110 year old house. In addition to redoing all the floors and stairs we uncovered the original wood in the kitchen and they were in rough shape! These guys came in and did some filling and patching. Now they are just stunning! Thank you so much!

We had Quality Hardwood Floors install our oak floors over 30 years ago! It was time to get them refinished and now they look like new! We are very happy with their work! We have recommended them to family and friends. My Daughter, Kim and Doug Cooper love their oak floor! Highly recommend!

After giving them several thousand dollars of repeat work recently, I asked them to come and look at a scratch to see if they could repair it. They told me I had done a great job. A month later I was charged $110 for a repair. When I called to get clarity was told “it cost us to drive out there. You can’t expect us to do it for free.” (I live in town). The issue I had was I was never told there would be a fee if no repair was made, and felt the assumption was that I was asking for free work. I have no problem paying for good work (and we loved the work they did), however not being communicated with prior and then feeling dismissed over the phone regarding a service charge will result in no future business or referrals from us.
