Floor Boys are great from sale to install. I will recommend them for all your flooring needs. When we walked in Keith was there to help up with our choices. I wanted carpet and LVP but not sure of brand or type, but after explaining to Keith what I wanted he guided my husband and myself to make the best decision. He made the purchasing and planning easy. But my real shout out is to Ted and his team Floyd and Eddie. They were awesome it was a large job, removing tile in 2 rooms, carpet in 4 rooms and laminate flooring in 2 rooms. Ted advised us each day what the plan was for upcoming day and the team did what we were advised each day. Ted did a great job correcting some of the sub-floor issues and laying the carpet, Floyd did a great job laying the LVP, and Eddie was a great assistant learning and will one day be a good installer. We have had flooring replace in the past and was never advise of any sub-floor issues that should have been seen with prior installations. They say you get what you pay for well Floor Boys goes beyond expectations and well worth the money. I would rate the entire team at Floor Boys a “10”.

We were very happy with Floor Boys. We had the whole downstairs newly floored. From meeting Ashton, who explained in detail to us all about flooring because we didn’t have a clue, to Jordan, coming out to measure our floors who was just delightful, and within two weeks they were installing our floor. The installation crew were courteous and professional. Richie, the foreman, double checked that everything was done and cleaned. Our new floor is amazing. They made this construction so easy for us. I would recommend them highly!

My initial contact was via the website, I didn’t get a response after 2 days. I was frustrated but I had heard good things. So…. I went to the store and Van took amazing care of me and offered great advice. He then came to my house and did his estimate, which came in almost exactly what I hoped to pay. The morning the install came and the crew arrived on time. We had a hiccup and the foreman wad allergic to my cat and they left. They then had another crew there in a couple hours. The crew was fantastic and their workmanship was excellent. I had a small water leak in my kitchen, and subfloor had to dry. The crew came back on Sunday to finish the kitchen. The whole experience was above my expectations and definitely will be recommending these guys any chance I get.

I have used Floor Boys three times within the last year. They installed vinyl planking, floors in bathrooms and carpet. I have had three difference crews, all of which were professional and did great work. The salesman I dealt with was also very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We recently had flooring installed in our house. The crew(Ted, Floyd, and Eddie) installed Luxury Vinyl Planks in 2 bedrooms, closets, hall, and great room. They also installed Vinyl Tile in one bathroom and the kitchen.I cannot brag on this crew(Ted, Floyd, & Eddie) enough on what an awesome job they did with the installation of our new flooring. They were respectful of us and our home. They cleaned up as they installed the flooring. They would make sure we liked something before they went forward with the next step in the installation. They also put floor protectors on all the furniture in our house. They installed our new toilet that we were told they would not be able to install for us when we first ordered the flooring. They hauled everything off including the old toilet. The whole process from picking out our flooring, scheduling for the flooring to be installed, and the installation was an excellent experience for us. I feel very thankful for all Ted, Floyd, and Eddie did to replace our old flooring and make our new flooring look great!! My husband and I highly recommend Floor Boys of Lexington and their installation crew (Ted, Floyd, and Eddie).

Don’t hire them, not for carpet services at least, it’s not worth the headache. Too long of a post to explain all the issues my husband and I went through with this company. Our flooring (carpet) was installed incorrectly by them. We were told that the only way to correct the issue, would be to reinstall the flooring. We spent over 4k and that’s the solution they gave us. Jerry, their installer who is beyond frustrating and incompetent, didn’t do his job correctly and cut the carpet too short, leaving a noticeable gap in the carpet. We were told, by the manager who came out to inspect the carpeting, that there was nothing to be done and we should just vacuum with the gap, not against it, to ensure it doesn’t worsen/widen the gap. The area which the gap occurs is right in front of the master bedroom doorway. It’s not the easiest, or even the most practical, to run a vacuum in the direction of the gap. But, according to them, we’re just supposed to be okay with it. You’re not even going to correct YOUR MISTAKE that you admitted to doing? Okay, sounds great 👍. My parents needed all new flooring and wanted LVP. I sent them to Floor Boys. Why would I do this? Simple, because I wanted them to receive a discount and better customer service based on my terrible experience. Chip made it happen and ensured that a better team would come and install their flooring. And, it actually worked out in their favor. Here’s to silver linings. I like the products they carry, and I was happy to help my parents receive a good price on their flooring (their install went smoothly), but I can’t recommend this company. They did so many things wrong and the interactions with them made my husband and I regretful in our decision to hire them.
