OMG I never see a old men so rude, i when to place a special order, right from the start i notice the he is not the best salesman to made the long story short we have the contract in writing he say i will get my delivery in a week i talk him to put it in the contract. he when to the back and come back with two delivery, i say hey you say one week he got mad and say here is you money back i have to go

Pilot Flooring made my carpet buying experience easy. Zollie was great to work with on getting the carpet when I needed it and installing quickly and did a wonderful job. Zollie was great to work with and very flexible. I would highly recommend for all your flooring needs.

I wish that I could give this place a ZERO STAR!!!!!!! We drove to the Kernersville location Saturday Morning to look at flooring for our bathrooms. Their website and on their door states that they are open at 9am on Saturdays. When we arrived it was like 9:30 and the door was locked. There was someone inside so we knocked on the door. The man came to the door was rude and was stating that they are not open on Saturdays. We were like why does it say on your door and the website that you are open??? He proceeded to say that he doesn’t know why they want change it. Needless to say we told him that we would not be back and he said “that’s fine with me”. Also if you call the number on the site the recording tells different times all together. I think that they need to get their **** together in my opinion. If anyone asks I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!!

I truly wish that I could give this business 0 stars. I’m very disappointed. We first used Pilot in 2017 to install hardwood floors in two rooms and install carpet on the entire third floor. We were satisfied with the work. Recently, we asked that they come back and extend the hardwood floors into the entryway and the dining room. Sadly, this second experience turned into a nightmare. Per normal, Jack came to the home to measure for the installation. We later asked that he come back a 2nd time to measure the kitchen since we decided to extend hardwood into the kitchen area as well. At that time, he was too busy to come back and opted to use the kitchen measurements that were taken during the first installation. He proceeded to give me a quote and planned to reach out to the floor dealer to confirm pricing due to the added wood. Days went by and I never heard from him. I called into the store and was told that he was gone on vacation. The store rep assured me that he would call Jack on vacation to confirm the details and pricing, then give me a call back. That never happened and more days went by. I called back into the store and was told that the wood was already ordered, prior to getting my confirmation. We went ahead and proceeded with the installation. The final result was a disaster. Rather than pull the original kitchen floors up, the installer just added the new hardwood floors on top of them. This created a noticeable height difference between the kitchen floors and the rest of the house. The increased elevation also caused the refrigerator to no longer fit below the cabinets. Both the pantry door and door to the stairway also would no longer close due to the increased floor height. There were messy t-strips placed around all sides of the kitchen creating an unattractive look of separation, rather than a look of “flow-through” flooring. We would have never chosen to not pull up the kitchen floors before laying the hardwood. We were never presented with this plan nor were we given a choice. The installer told us that he was given explicit instructions by Jack NOT to pull up the floors, even though we were not consulted in this decision. While the rest of the floors look acceptable, the entire kitchen looks as if it was haphazardly and poorly installed with no quality. We immediately called Jack and expressed our disappointment and asked that he meet us at the home. We reviewed the floors together and explained that we were not happy and wanted to pull the floors back up and correct the problem. We explained to Jack that if we been consulted in this decision, we would have chosen differently, even at an increased labor cost. Jack was at least 4 weeks or more behind and would not be able to resolve the issue for some time. We agreed that this was unacceptable and we would instead purchase new floors and pay someone else to fix the problem. Jack agreed to our terms and even insisted that we buy the new floors from him. He also gave us the contact information for a contractor who could help. Jack proceeded to order the new floors and we scheduled installation with the new contractor. When the floors arrived, Jack unexpectedly called and angrily demanded that we agree to terms outside of the original terms that were made during our home visit. He began to yell, talk over me and refused to listen. The call ended badly with his threats of lawyers and lawsuits. In addition to the floor being installed incorrectly, the installer also damaged multiple walls throughout the house, he broke the front screen door, and installed t-strips that appeared damaged and scratched. We also now have to replace the refrigerator that no longer fits due to the elevated floors. Overall, this terrible floor experience has cost us a significant amount of time, money and delays. I really just want to express how disheartening it is to experience such poor customer service. Please take your time and choose wisely before considering this company.

We had lived in our house for 8 years, and our carpet looked terrible. I worked with Zollie Smith. The process was easy from the estimate to the final carpet installation. The work looks awesome! I highly recommend using PFC.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Pilot Floor Covering. Ed went above and beyond to make certain my hardwood floor, the ceramic tile floor in my kitchen, and my kitchen backsplash were perfect!! They have a customer for life!
